This impressive former courthouse is stylish and elegant, offering a peaceful haven for stolen weekends and holidays near the Cornish coast. Spend summer mornings chatting over fresh coffee and croissants on the patio, before heading down to one of Bude's golden beaches for fun in the sun. The interiors are decorated in a clean, contemporary style with crisp whites and pops of refreshing colour. Large feature windows combined with spacious, open-plan living areas create a light, bright space in which to unwind. Whether tucking into a home-cooked Sunday lunch in the sociable dining area or winding down in one of the cosy bedrooms complete with exposed beams and pitched ceilings, there's plenty of room to relax.

Lovely holiday home, great for families and plenty to do nearby. We took our teenage daughter and our 3 year old, we usually find it hard to keep them both happy but we all had a fantastic time and the courthouse was comfortable, clean, well equipped and easy to find.

The Courthouse is an interesting building that has been well converted, it was very comfortable, clean and well equipped. It is in a ideal location for discovering Stratton and Bude; we had some lovely circular walks from the cottage to Bude and along the coastal path. A relaxing and enjoyable holiday!

Location

Note: As the postcode is used to identify the general area of the property, it may not always reflect its precise location, therefore please only use this map as a guide.

North Cornwall

Embark on clifftop wanderings along the South West Coast Path to discover ancient myths and legends; King Arthur at Tintagel Castle, or the giant at the Bedruthan Steps. Surfers flock here to ride the famous swell that carved the dramatic coastline, and Bude and Newquay are havens for the sport. From sandy bays and beaches to the seafood delights of Padstow or thrills of Camel Creek Adventure Park, North Cornwall is brimming with things to do; trails to trek, cream teas to gobble, and adventure to be had.

West Cornwall

Let the history, romance and raw beauty of West Cornwall whisk you through time, into rocky coves and along sweeping sands to Land’s End where the UK slips into the Atlantic. Discover an oasis of flora owed to the rare geology of the Lizard peninsula. You can kayak around Godrevy Island, wander the galleries of St Ives, catch a performance at the open-air Minack Theatre, and still make it to Marazion for dinner: St Michael’s Mount makes the ultimate backdrop.

South Cornwall

Tucked away from the swell of the Atlantic pretty fishing harbours sleep, and lush carpets of greenery roll up to craggy cliffs. Discover the fishing and smuggling history in Kingsand and Cawsand, or walk the South West Coast Path from Fowey to the tiny tidal beach at Readymoney Cove. Sample local ales in St Austell before visiting Charlestown’s tall ships, the enchantments of the Eden Project, or The Lost Gardens of Heligan. From vibrant towns to secret beaches and exhilarating days out, the south has it all.
