Detached single storey property nestled in a quiet courtyard setting, boasting views across the countryside to the sea beyond. A perfect base for couples looking to escape the hustle and bustle.

Nestled just 2.5 miles from the popular seaside town Bude with wonderful sea glimpses, this pretty cottage offers a romantic break for two. Cosy and inviting, this holiday home is an opportunity to discover Devon as well as the beautiful scenery of North Cornwall. Wake up among soft, peaceful decor, grab your breakfast and enjoy it on the patio to watch the morning unfold.

Whether you’re off exploring the grounds where you’ll find an unfenced stream and lake or you’re curled up on the sofa with a book from the well-stocked shelf, there’s something for everyone here. The interiors have a welcoming farmhouse feel with wood beams and rustic furnishings featuring throughout. Cook up a storm for your beau and eat at the pretty dining table or sizzle up a BBQ and dine alfresco. After a long day, treat yourself to a soak in the bathroom or take an invigorating shower among fresh and bright colours.

If long walks along the South West Coast Path from Bude up to Morwenstow (10.5 miles) aren’t exciting enough for you, try your hand at windsurfing, sailing or boogie boarding at Atlantic Pursuits (4 miles). Magical Tintagel Castle (21 miles) will reel you in with the stories of King Arthur, while some may prefer the artefacts at the Museum of Witchcraft and Magic in Boscastle (15.5 miles). We had a lovely week away in Bude. The cottage was the perfect setting to be away from the hustle and bustle and is definitely a home from home. The bed and pillows were more comfortable than ours which is always a bonus!

Great stay, great location close to Bude, once you get used to the single track lane up and down. Lovely comfortable stay and lovely view of the farm and sea on a Sunny day.

A lovely cottage on a working farm. An ideal base to explore the Cornawall and Devon coastline. - even during lockdown restrictions. The final drive down the twisty narrow line to be taken slowly! The eggs and cake on arrival were a nice touch. Our only suggestion would be an improved wi - fi signal.

North Cornwall

Embark on clifftop wanderings along the South West Coast Path to discover ancient myths and legends; King Arthur at Tintagel Castle, or the giant at the Bedruthan Steps. Surfers flock here to ride the famous swell that carved the dramatic coastline, and Bude and Newquay are havens for the sport. From sandy bays and beaches to the seafood delights of Padstow or thrills of Camel Creek Adventure Park, North Cornwall is brimming with things to do; trails to trek, cream teas to gobble, and adventure to be had.

West Cornwall

Let the history, romance and raw beauty of West Cornwall whisk you through time, into rocky coves and along sweeping sands to Land’s End where the UK slips into the Atlantic. Discover an oasis of flora owed to the rare geology of the Lizard peninsula. You can kayak around Godrevy Island, wander the galleries of St Ives, catch a performance at the open-air Minack Theatre, and still make it to Marazion for dinner: St Michael’s Mount makes the ultimate backdrop.

South Cornwall

Tucked away from the swell of the Atlantic pretty fishing harbours sleep, and lush carpets of greenery roll up to craggy cliffs. Discover the fishing and smuggling history in Kingsand and Cawsand, or walk the South West Coast Path from Fowey to the tiny tidal beach at Readymoney Cove. Sample local ales in St Austell before visiting Charlestown’s tall ships, the enchantments of the Eden Project, or The Lost Gardens of Heligan. From vibrant towns to secret beaches and exhilarating days out, the south has it all.
