We had a lovely stay at the Old Granary made even better by the perfect weather. The owners, David and Rachel, were very helpful and friendly and we found the location of the cottage ideal being very peaceful but still only a short walk to the Bodinnick ferry and pub just down the hill. The property was also good for the dog with a large garden whiRead morech although not totally enclosed had direct access to a footpath to the quay at Mixtow, a lovely early morning walk. Hide

Rachel and David were very welcoming and the Granary was clean and generally well presented. The heating and hot water worked fine and we found our stay very peaceful. A minor fault on the boiler was sorted out immediately by David.

We spend a long time looking for our holiday cottage and as my husband is an ex farmer were excited to find accommodation on a working farm. How disappointed we were to find no sign of livestock or even a tractor. Also the garden was not as private as described as owners lived in adjoining property and were able to hear our conversations as well asRead more we hearing theirs. One side of the garden is also unfenced and therefore if you had young children or a dog it is not secure. Hide

Excellent, comfortable, peaceful accommodation with a nice sunny patio. We really enjoyed our stay. Lovely views and easy going along the "Hall Walk" opposite Fowey and a regular foot/car ferry at the bottom of the lane to Fowey - though it's a shame it ceased for the evening at 7.30pm.
