Welcome to this chic and stylish rural retreat. Located in the rolling Cornish countryside with easy access to all major routes to explore Cornwall's fine scenery and attractions.

When it comes to countryside-chic, you can't quite beat a beautiful barn conversion. Perched on the edge of Bodmin Moor, this peaceful nest mixes style and comfort to provide you with an idyllic romantic retreat. Although beautifully rural, much of the South West is easily accessible from here, giving you endless options for fun in this stunning and diverse corner of the UK.

Charming and inviting, the boutique-styled interior speaks to modernism while retaining rustic character. Exposed stone walls and local slate window sills inject a splash of the countryside, that contrasts against a soft, neutral colour palette. High apex ceilings open up the generous living and dining rooms, where there's plenty of space to spread out and relax. Enjoy views of rolling hills from a warm haven or rustle up a BBQ in the outdoor seating area.

With so much of Cornwall to explore, the fact that you'll be a short drive from the A30 is a great advantage. Tintagel castle and Boscastle are within 12 miles, and nature lovers can fill their boots at The Hidden Valley and the famous Eden Project, around 30 miles away. If you don't fancy a ride in the car, beautiful walks await on the doorstep across the rugged landscape of Bodmin Moor. Thrill seekers should be sure to visit The Adrenaline Quarry or venture up to Bude to have a go at surfing during summer months, both within 20 miles.

Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week.

Didnt realise how isolated the property was, with no village shops or pubs for miles. Although there was internet connection it was very slow and patchy, and almost no phone connection. The accommodation was very comfortable and the owners were lovely and helpful people.

We had the most memorable week away at The Old Cow Barn in a fantastic rural location. Modern conversion which is warm, clean and comfortable. Nearest beach is 10 miles. Really lovely stay and the mornings were all sunny and bright. Very good accommodation - clean, tidy, great bed, brilliant walk in shower with plenty of hot water. Welcome pack of biscuits and milk - thank you. No wonder the cottage is fully booked for the whole summer!

North Cornwall

Embark on clifftop wanderings along the South West Coast Path to discover ancient myths and legends; King Arthur at Tintagel Castle, or the giant at the Bedruthan Steps. Surfers flock here to ride the famous swell that carved the dramatic coastline, and Bude and Newquay are havens for the sport. From sandy bays and beaches to the seafood delights of Padstow or thrills of Camel Creek Adventure Park, North Cornwall is brimming with things to do; trails to trek, cream teas to gobble, and adventure to be had.

West Cornwall

Let the history, romance and raw beauty of West Cornwall whisk you through time, into rocky coves and along sweeping sands to Land’s End where the UK slips into the Atlantic. Discover an oasis of flora owed to the rare geology of the Lizard peninsula. You can kayak around Godrevy Island, wander the galleries of St Ives, catch a performance at the open-air Minack Theatre, and still make it to Marazion for dinner: St Michael’s Mount makes the ultimate backdrop.

South Cornwall

Tucked away from the swell of the Atlantic pretty fishing harbours sleep, and lush carpets of greenery roll up to craggy cliffs. Discover the fishing and smuggling history in Kingsand and Cawsand, or walk the South West Coast Path from Fowey to the tiny tidal beach at Readymoney Cove. Sample local ales in St Austell before visiting Charlestown’s tall ships, the enchantments of the Eden Project, or The Lost Gardens of Heligan. From vibrant towns to secret beaches and exhilarating days out, the south has it all.
