The cottage has been stylishly decorated with neutral tones to ensure a relaxing holiday by the coast. Large windows provide a bright and airy feel, while upstairs you'll find old wooden beams and farmhouse-style furnishings fitted throughout. The contemporary kitchen with its bar worktop is a lovely place to cook while socialising with the group, there's plenty of space for mingling and comfortable seating for everyone to gather.

In the village you'll find a harbour, Shipwreck and Heritage Centre and plenty of eateries. Visit St Austell for the brewery, see Pinetum Gardens and explore the town centre of St Austell. The bewitching Lost Gardens of Heligan are 7 miles away, hidden above Mevagissey; and the immensely involving Eden Project is only 4 miles. We recently stayed at the smokehouse no 6 in Charlestown, absoluteley stunning location. This property was very comfortable and ideally situated for my 90yr old father to get about in stunning surroundings without much effort. I would recommend this holiday to anybody who wants gorgeous location with lots to do, but very unspoilt, an absolute must.Read more Hide

It was lovely. Amazing to have a sea view, and to be able to walk to the beaches and eateries. The cottage was very tastefully presented, and its aforementioned location seemed to attract envious glances from passers by!

The best thing about this cottage is the location. Moments away from the harbour with its small collection of pubs and cafes. The cottage is warm and comfortable, with lots of cooking equipment and a nice kitchen. The master bedroom has a wonderful view, which is a pleasure to wake up to each morning.

What a brilliant find....even ticked all of Bernie's (the dog) boxes.......the cottage was perfect, much larger than anticipated....and the morning sunlight through the windows was idyllic. We thoroughly enjoyed cooking as the kitchen was fully equipped for doing so. The beds were very comfortable and the sea air made sure we had a restful night. Location

Note: As the postcode is used to identify the general area of the property, it may not always reflect its precise location, therefore please only use this map as a guide.

North Cornwall

Embark on clifftop wanderings along the South West Coast Path to discover ancient myths and legends; King Arthur at Tintagel Castle, or the giant at the Bedruthan Steps. Surfers flock here to ride the famous swell that carved the dramatic coastline, and Bude and Newquay are havens for the sport. From sandy bays and beaches to the seafood delights of Padstow or thrills of Camel Creek Adventure Park, North Cornwall is brimming with things to do; trails to trek, cream teas to gobble, and adventure to be had.

West Cornwall

Let the history, romance and raw beauty of West Cornwall whisk you through time, into rocky coves and along sweeping sands to Land’s End where the UK slips into the Atlantic. Discover an oasis of flora owed to the rare geology of the Lizard peninsula. You can kayak around Godrevy Island, wander the galleries of St Ives, catch a performance at the open-air Minack Theatre, and still make it to Marazion for dinner: St Michael’s Mount makes the ultimate backdrop.

South Cornwall

Tucked away from the swell of the Atlantic pretty fishing harbours sleep, and lush carpets of greenery roll up to craggy cliffs. Discover the fishing and smuggling history in Kingsand and Cawsand, or walk the South West Coast Path from Fowey to the tiny tidal beach at Readymoney Cove. Sample local ales in St Austell before visiting Charlestown’s tall ships, the enchantments of the Eden Project, or The Lost Gardens of Heligan. From vibrant towns to secret beaches and exhilarating days out, the south has it all.
