Situated in a peaceful, rural position, this one bedroom converted barn is one of five located on a 267 acre dairy farm in the heart of the Cornish countryside.

In the stillness of early morning, climb the steps to your own private meadow and take in the spectacular scenery. The views are truly remarkable as you can see past the grassy hilltops of the cliff edge, over the sparkling ocean and to Lundy Island in the distance. Now is the time to get painting and capture the remote beauty of the Cornish coast.

Clean lines and bright white combine to provide a simple yet sleek interior. A dreamy atmosphere engulfs the cottage slowing that feeling of absolute relaxation. Let sunlight flood and air flow into the house through the French doors while you put your feet up and enjoy a steaming mug of tea on the cosy sofas. As the day wears on, take a buffet lunch out onto the secluded patio enclosed by twisted fencing and pretty shrubbery.

Roam up the South West Coast Path, past Ronald Duncan's writing hut, and step down onto the sandy beach of Welcombe Mouth (3 miles) to dip your toes in the shallow waters and stand on the borderline between Cornwall and Devon or chose to walk south along the Hartland Heritage Coast. Surfer culture is threaded through the town of Bude (9 miles) so test your skills or lie on the sandy beaches and watch as local pros take to the waves. Climb the steep cobbled streets of Clovelly (12 miles away).

Dogs fees are charged per dog at £20.00 for up to 7 nights, £40.00 for up to 14 nights and an additional £20.00 for every week or part week thereafter.

Lovely property. Friendly people. Fantastic for the dogs having a garden and a field to play in. Very comfortable with all the equipment needed. Not the end of the world, but lighting the log burner was a struggle without any dry logs, but we got there in the end. Quite isolated, but again, not really a problem and close enough to some great beacheRead mores. Extremely lucky with the weather too. Thanks again! Hide

The property is fine if you intend to stay there and not go out much as it is not easy to nip out also being near a dog friendly beach doesnt mean its a dog appropriate beach. We didnt take ours to Duckpool at all and only to Sandymouth once as they are very rocky. Duckpool in particular, had to walk over large cobble stone size rocks, trying to doRead more that with ours would just be asking for broken legs, ours or theirs. The kitchen is lovely but needs more bits & pieces Hide

North Cornwall

Embark on clifftop wanderings along the South West Coast Path to discover ancient myths and legends; King Arthur at Tintagel Castle, or the giant at the Bedruthan Steps. Surfers flock here to ride the famous swell that carved the dramatic coastline, and Bude and Newquay are havens for the sport. From sandy bays and beaches to the seafood delights of Padstow or thrills of Camel Creek Adventure Park, North Cornwall is brimming with things to do; trails to trek, cream teas to gobble, and adventure to be had.

West Cornwall

Let the history, romance and raw beauty of West Cornwall whisk you through time, into rocky coves and along sweeping sands to Land’s End where the UK slips into the Atlantic. Discover an oasis of flora owed to the rare geology of the Lizard peninsula. You can kayak around Godrevy Island, wander the galleries of St Ives, catch a performance at the open-air Minack Theatre, and still make it to Marazion for dinner: St Michael’s Mount makes the ultimate backdrop.

South Cornwall

Tucked away from the swell of the Atlantic pretty fishing harbours sleep, and lush carpets of greenery roll up to craggy cliffs. Discover the fishing and smuggling history in Kingsand and Cawsand, or walk the South West Coast Path from Fowey to the tiny tidal beach at Readymoney Cove. Sample local ales in St Austell before visiting Charlestown’s tall ships, the enchantments of the Eden Project, or The Lost Gardens of Heligan. From vibrant towns to secret beaches and exhilarating days out, the south has it all.
