This pleasant apartment offers well furnished accommodation in the popular seaside town of Bude. The beaches, shops, restaurants are all within walking distance of the property

Located less than 100 metres away from Crooklets Beach and the South West Coast Path, this property promises a wonderful stay to guests. Spacious and bright, this two-level apartment is an opportunity to have a truly traditional seaside holiday right next to the sea with lots to eat, see and do on the doorstep. Head down the coast path to Widemouth Bay (3.5 miles) and stop off at one of the cafes before turning back, or simply pop downstairs to the restaurant within the apartment building.

Whether you’re watching the other holiday makers from the shared terrace or you’re looking over the Bude and North Cornwall Golf Club from the open-plan living area, you’re never too far from the sea here. The interiors are light and airy with contemporary furnishings and splashes of colour; the kitchen and bedrooms embrace the blue tones of the ocean. There’s no need to worry about getting muddy or sandy on your days out since there’s a shared shower downstairs and even a doggy bath and grooming area if you’ve brought your canine companion along; spend the day surfing without having to worry about removing your wetsuit at the beach.

The Bude Sea Pool (1 mile) is well worth a dip to experience this tidal pool and the superb views that come with it. Compass Point, locally known as the Pepper Pot, is only 1.5 miles down the coast path and was originally built as a refuge for the coastguard. Kids will love the Milky Way Adventure Park up in Devon (16.5 miles) as well as the Hidden Valley Discovery Park (23 miles) with its maze and forbidden mansion.

Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week.

The apartment was big enough for 4 adults, well planned out with the bedrooms away from each other and both had en suite, each room also has a tv in it an added surprise benefit. The flat is on the 3rd floor up a lot of stairs. In addition, the main bedroom is separate down 5 or so steps from the rest of the flat with a fire door inbetween so if you are staying with children who are too big to sleep in your room, you are quite separate from them and it is difficult to hear them. This was an ideal apartment for 2 couples sharing - relaxed and well appointed, simple and very comfortable. The location, with coastal walks on the doorstep, and a view across the golf course was very good.

The property is in a great location with great views of the beach. The property looks very dated from outside and in but was extremely spacious with a brand new kitchen and furniture. We stayed in flat 11 which is up several flights of stairs so not good for the elderly or children's buggies but great for the leg muscles! Dog friendly although CrooRead moreklets beach only allows before 10am and after 6pm. Lovely 10 minute stroll into town. Would stay again but feel a little overpriced. Hide

North Cornwall

Embark on clifftop wanderings along the South West Coast Path to discover ancient myths and legends; King Arthur at Tintagel Castle, or the giant at the Bedruthan Steps. Surfers flock here to ride the famous swell that carved the dramatic coastline, and Bude and Newquay are havens for the sport. From sandy bays and beaches to the seafood delights of Padstow or thrills of Camel Creek Adventure Park, North Cornwall is brimming with things to do; trails to trek, cream teas to gobble, and adventure to be had.

West Cornwall

Let the history, romance and raw beauty of West Cornwall whisk you through time, into rocky coves and along sweeping sands to Land’s End where the UK slips into the Atlantic. Discover an oasis of flora owed to the rare geology of the Lizard peninsula. You can kayak around Godrevy Island, wander the galleries of St Ives, catch a performance at the open-air Minack Theatre, and still make it to Marazion for dinner: St Michael’s Mount makes the ultimate backdrop.

South Cornwall

Tucked away from the swell of the Atlantic pretty fishing harbours sleep, and lush carpets of greenery roll up to craggy cliffs. Discover the fishing and smuggling history in Kingsand and Cawsand, or walk the South West Coast Path from Fowey to the tiny tidal beach at Readymoney Cove. Sample local ales in St Austell before visiting Charlestown’s tall ships, the enchantments of the Eden Project, or The Lost Gardens of Heligan. From vibrant towns to secret beaches and exhilarating days out, the south has it all.
