A stylish property located on the South West Coast path, not far from the heart of the village with its pubs, shop, tea room, Post Office and tidal beach. Enjoy watching the river life go by.

Gaze out from the glass balcony of this stunning holiday cottage, across the estuary, to the historic town of Fowey. Many famous authors and artists were drawn to this place, and with the views from Trebarfoote, you can see why. From this superbly situated elevation, views extend to the west, towards St Austell Bay and Mevagissey. This is truly the romantic heart of Cornwall, inspiring the world-renowned works of Graham Greene and Daphne du Maurier.

The wonders continue within; along with the astounding views, natural light pours in through wide windows and sweeping patio doors, resulting in a bright and airy space. With cool Scandi-chic furnishings mixed with Cornish seaside style, this property is a true delight. It's the little touches that set Trebarfoote apart, flourished with loving care. Lounge on the balcony with a glass of something bubbly on balmy summer evenings and watch boats glide by on the River as dusk falls.

Trebarfoote is perfectly situated to enjoy the very best that Cornwall has to offer, be it by train to St Ives or Newquay, by car to the Eden Project (6 miles) and Poldark's historic Charlestown (7 miles), or by boat or foot to picturesque Polperro (5.5 miles) and Looe (9 miles). Or just relax on the dreamy golden sands of Lantic Bay (1.5 miles). Explore the literary trails of famous authors, lose yourself in dark smugglers' tales, fall in love with this unique corner of our heritage coastline.

Lovely house and furnishings felt at home straight away. Shame about building noise and dust opposite, no lazy lie ins or sitting on patio until evening. Once this is finished will be perfect, such a fantastic spot.

North Cornwall

Embark on clifftop wanderings along the South West Coast Path to discover ancient myths and legends; King Arthur at Tintagel Castle, or the giant at the Bedruthan Steps. Surfers flock here to ride the famous swell that carved the dramatic coastline, and Bude and Newquay are havens for the sport. From sandy bays and beaches to the seafood delights of Padstow or thrills of Camel Creek Adventure Park, North Cornwall is brimming with things to do; trails to trek, cream teas to gobble, and adventure to be had.

West Cornwall

Let the history, romance and raw beauty of West Cornwall whisk you through time, into rocky coves and along sweeping sands to Land’s End where the UK slips into the Atlantic. Discover an oasis of flora owed to the rare geology of the Lizard peninsula. You can kayak around Godrevy Island, wander the galleries of St Ives, catch a performance at the open-air Minack Theatre, and still make it to Marazion for dinner: St Michael’s Mount makes the ultimate backdrop.

South Cornwall

Tucked away from the swell of the Atlantic pretty fishing harbours sleep, and lush carpets of greenery roll up to craggy cliffs. Discover the fishing and smuggling history in Kingsand and Cawsand, or walk the South West Coast Path from Fowey to the tiny tidal beach at Readymoney Cove. Sample local ales in St Austell before visiting Charlestown’s tall ships, the enchantments of the Eden Project, or The Lost Gardens of Heligan. From vibrant towns to secret beaches and exhilarating days out, the south has it all.
