With a fantastic pub in the village within walking distance, you won’t need to go far for good food, but if you want to discover more of what South Cornwall has to offer, you’ll be perfectly located to explore some of the best attractions, surrounded by popular tourist hotspots. Gweek Seal Sanctuary is just a short drive away, as is the Helford Passage, subtropical gardens of Trebah and Flambards Adventure Park, or you could travel slightly further for the picturesque towns of Falmouth and Helston for a wide range of amenities. Visit the Lizard Peninsula to see the UK’s most southerly point and some breath-taking views, or discover one of the many beautiful beaches, from Kynance Cove to Praa Sands.

Spread across a single storey, this delightful property makes the perfect home from home, the ideal base to return to after a long day of exploring the region. The lounge is a large, family space, with plenty of room for little ones to play and for dogs to roam or sleep. Relax on the comfortable sofas while watching something on the TV/DVD, keeping warm thanks to the multifuel stove, or admire the views out of the double aspect windows, with far-reaching panoramas across the countryside and the village church. Through to the kitchen, the well-equipped area comprises of an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and washer/dryer. If you decide to make use of the equipment and cook up a storm at the house, you can enjoy your cuisine at the dining table, which can seat up to six people. From here walk through to the conservatory, a light and airy room with TV/DVD, foldaway table and chairs, and truly spectacular views across the rolling hills with access outside to the patio area. There are two bedrooms in the bungalow, one with a double bed, the other with twin singles. Both rooms benefit from having a TV, and lovely views of the church. The family bathroom at the property features a roll-top bath, separate shower and WC.

Make the most of the sun with garden furniture outside on the patio, and steps down to a large enclosed garden laid to lawn.

We really enjoyed our stay. Christine was really welcoming and helpful. We took our dog who loved it. It's so lovely and peaceful and the large windows really do let you enjoy the stunning location. I'll miss having cups of tea in the sunroom looking out to that view! Warm and cosy for a Cornish March and the fire and super comfortable sofas were pRead moreerfect to relax and snooze in! We loved out stay. Just perfect for us and the three dogs. Really comfortable beds and we felt very relaxed. The view is to die for. We enjoyed a lovely welcome from the helpful owner. After all theres nothing that she can do to widen the approach roads! The bungalow was excellent, well equipped and warm and we thoroughly enjoyed the views from the sun room in the most comfortable seating. Great beds provided us with contented nights. Thank you.

The accommodation was perfect for the dogs with access to an additional field at the end of the garden. The pub welcomes dogs and the residents were also very welcoming and on some night's they have activities going on. This is our 3rd visit to Trengilly Vean, we had a lovely relaxing week. It is close to many places of interest to visit. Our dog loved it and was fascinated by the cows in the field at the bottom of the garden. Thank you for the cream tea and doggy biscuit.

A really warm welcome from Mrs Carter when I arrived after a long journey. A cream tea and treats for my dogs awaited. A wonderful start to the holiday. The cottage has everything that is needed and wonderful views from the sun lounge. It is a short walk to the village and the Spar shop and convenience store sell all the essentials. Absolutely fantastic week with our two children and two spaniels. Lovely bungalow with everything you need. Great location, close to Seal Sanctuary and several beaches short drive away. Cute little village. It was a perfect location if you want to bring dogs with you; lots of walks and woods for them to roam. Would definitely recommend.

Excellent hosts. Arriving to a cream tea, milk & flowers is a really nice touch. Christine & Paul were very helpful & approachable. Lovely enclosed garden for dogs, with a regular visit by a herd of cows in the adjoining field. Lovely comfortable home from home. Gorgeous views and fab location. Great for exploring the Lizard peninsular and close to Helston. Porthlevan and Falmouth . This is the second time we have stayed at this property and we thoroughly recommend it. Our only gripe was the grass needed to be shorter, a bit too long like the last time we stayed but dont let that put you off.
