An idyllic rural setting with walks on your doorstep; the cottage has been lovingly fitted and furnished in a contemporary country style and is a perfect bolthole or romantic getaway.

The Cornwall Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty lies a short distance to the south with its unspoilt coastal scenery, hidden coves and creeks, with various areas of the coast in the ownership of the National Trust. Nearby Polperro, Polruan, Fowey and Looe are picturesque, each with their own harbours and fishing fleets. The nearest beach is the beautiful Talland Bay or travel a little further and you have all the stunning beaches of south-east Cornwall, many of which are dog friendly. Many of Cornwall's attractions are within easy driving distance, including the Eden Project, The Lost Gardens of Heligan and National Trust properties such as Cotehele and Lanhydrock. There are plenty of opportunities to indulge in water-based activities with some good diving and snorkelling sites along the coast as well as excellent coves to explore whilst paddle boarding.

Although it is steeped in its rural past, the property is also equipped with many modern comforts throughout. From the terrace, you enter through the French doors into a wonderfully cosy open-plan lounge/kitchen with a vaulted ceiling and wood burner. The beautiful hand-built kitchen has everything you need and is fully equipped with an electric oven, induction hob, microwave, washer/dryer and fridge/freezer to create a romantic meal whilst playing your favourite songs on the wireless speaker. There is also a breakfast bar with seating for you to enjoy your lazy breakfast. The lounge area has a very comfortable sofa and armchair so cosy up in front of the wood burner and watch your favourite TV show on the Smart TV. The wonderfully cosy king-size bedroom is incredibly spacious and has a  TV so you relax and enjoy a lazy morning. There’s ample storage space and a stable door leading into the garden. The stunning en-suite bathroom has separate shower and bath to unwind after a long day exploring the various walks nearby.

Outside, there is a spacious terrace which is furnished with a seating bench, table and chairs so you can dine alfresco. The private garden is perfect for relaxing in and is fully enclosed so ideal for dogs. There are several borders with shrubs and you will find fresh herbs in the border between the roses. A parking space is on the gravelled driveway.

Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week.
