Stone cottage situated on a working farm, just one mile from a sandy beach and a harbour village with a pub and selection of cafes.
On the magical Lizard Peninsular the pace of life is relaxed and easy, so let the pressures of your daily life go and settle back into a holiday in this detached stone-built bungalow cottage. It's in a peaceful setting on a working farm, a walkable mile from the picturesque Coverack harbour village with its water activities and sandy beach. There are three other cottage properties here – extended families can book together to have a family reunion with no transport hassles.
This property has an open-plan kitchen/dining/living room full of light and homely comforts. With a spacious feel, it's great for family evenings enjoying a favourite movie or a homecooked dinner while you plan your next adventure. Cheerful floral print fabrics reflect the outdoor scenery of countryside stretching in all directions, and exposed beams reveal the cottage's structure. Outside, there's an enclosed private patio with border plantings, ideal for a late breakfast or a quiet close-of-day glass of wine. On this working farm, you're welcome to explore and visit the animals.
Coverack has shops and a pub, the beach has a variety of water activities including kayak and windsurfer hire, and you can arrange a mackerel fishing trip from the harbour. There are shops, pubs and cafes here too. There are wonderful walks from your door, for example a circular route partly on the South West Coast Path from Coverack to Lankidden is 7 miles long. At Lizard Point, 10 miles away, you'll find an incredible view emphasising how far from the crowds you are.
Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week.
