In the ancient manor of Treworgey, near the market town of Liskeard and beaches that adorn the south coast of Cornwall. This estate lies nestling in 110 acres of beautiful pasture and woodland. Take time to relax in fine surroundings of the grounds or the beautiful nearby villages. Outdoor swimming pool, games room, tennis court and boules all onsite

The largest of four gorgeous courtyard barn conversions on ancient Treworgey manor estate, 3 miles north of Liskeard, this impressive property has 110 acres of pasture, woodland and streams around it guaranteeing rural peace and plenty of wildlife. Excellent leisure facilities are shared with the other cottage properties: a tennis court, games room, and outdoor heated swimming pool. It's a great base for exploration of southeast Cornwall – Bodmin Moor for walking and horse trekking, and the South Cornish coast with beaches and pretty fishing villages.

You'll revel in fine, spacious accommodation in a country-house style with a set of unique features: the green-bordered, tree-lined driveway welcomes you; the enormous living room, with plenty of comfy lounging space and cosy open fire, has a full sized snooker table at one end; timber beamed ceilings reveal the traditional building structure; and outside, the enclosed garden with patio is the perfect place to sip cocktails and listen to the evening birdsong. Due to the current situation the games room will not be available. Tennis racquets and balls will be available for use on the tennis courts but guests are asked to bring their own where possible.

For a picturesque seaside harbour village with fine dining on offer, head to Polperro through lush lanes and steeply wooded valleys, or for a beach day in a secluded cove, Lansallos Beach is perfect for a picnic – both are 15 miles away. For exhilarating hill-walking on Bodmin Moor, you can climb Brown Willy, Cornwall's highest peak, or try the circular walk from Bolventor 8 miles away, followed by drinks at romantic Jamaica Inn. Several riding stables in the area offer equestrian activities for all levels of experience.

Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week.

Absolutely delightful place to stay in a beautiful setting. The heated swimming pool, surrounded by lush greenery is great and came into its own during the hot spell. The tennis court was lovely too. A comfortable and quiet place to stay.

North Cornwall

Embark on clifftop wanderings along the South West Coast Path to discover ancient myths and legends; King Arthur at Tintagel Castle, or the giant at the Bedruthan Steps. Surfers flock here to ride the famous swell that carved the dramatic coastline, and Bude and Newquay are havens for the sport. From sandy bays and beaches to the seafood delights of Padstow or thrills of Camel Creek Adventure Park, North Cornwall is brimming with things to do; trails to trek, cream teas to gobble, and adventure to be had.

West Cornwall

Let the history, romance and raw beauty of West Cornwall whisk you through time, into rocky coves and along sweeping sands to Land’s End where the UK slips into the Atlantic. Discover an oasis of flora owed to the rare geology of the Lizard peninsula. You can kayak around Godrevy Island, wander the galleries of St Ives, catch a performance at the open-air Minack Theatre, and still make it to Marazion for dinner: St Michael’s Mount makes the ultimate backdrop.

South Cornwall

Tucked away from the swell of the Atlantic pretty fishing harbours sleep, and lush carpets of greenery roll up to craggy cliffs. Discover the fishing and smuggling history in Kingsand and Cawsand, or walk the South West Coast Path from Fowey to the tiny tidal beach at Readymoney Cove. Sample local ales in St Austell before visiting Charlestown’s tall ships, the enchantments of the Eden Project, or The Lost Gardens of Heligan. From vibrant towns to secret beaches and exhilarating days out, the south has it all.
