Situated just outside the rural village of Polbathic, it is ideally placed for anyone wanting to discover more of the Cornish Coast or South Devon, with many beaches such as Whitsand Bay, Seaton and Downderry close by, for days of relaxation or sporty exhilaration, whichever takes your fancy. Close by are beautiful walks directly from your front door, including woodland where you can exercise your dog. The more energetic amongst will enjoy nearby attractions such as The Adrenaline Quarry or hire bikes and cycle the Camel Trail. The coastal town of Looe is easily reached by car and is known for its quaint eateries, restaurants and shops. East of the property is Plymouth with its huge array of shops, restaurants, leisure facilities and national theatre. This really is an ideal base for the whole family. Although this is situated in the grounds of the owners home privacy is very much assured.

Accessed via external steps, the property sits sheltered by trees and foliage. The lounge/kitchen/diner is open plan, with oak flooring throughout; the lounge area features a large leather reclining sofa, armchair, and TV/DVD, and has an oak dining table large enough to seat six people in an alcove. The kitchen has been lovingly fitted, and comprises of an electric oven and hob, dishwasher, fridge/freezer and microwave. This apartment features two bedrooms; the master bedroom has a king-size bed and en-suite WC, whilst the second bedroom has twin zip-and-link beds, which can be made into a king-size on request at the time of booking. The main bathroom has a shower over the bath and WC.

Outside, there is a private garden area for guests, with a picnic table and BBQ. A washing machine if available on request for a small charge to cover the costs.

Neat, tidy and modern premises. Within an hour drive of most places of interest i.e. Tintagel, Bodmin Moor, Boscastle etc.. Nice village pub with real ales a short walk away (The Halfway House) and great food at the Finnygook Inn at the nearby village of Crafthole. All in all a very pleasant experience and the dog loved it too!!!!

Such a lovely stay at Ty hanner. The owner Clare is a lovely lady. Very clean apartment and great that two decent sized towels were provided for your use, not usual. Lovely comfortable well equipped cottage. Perfect for us and our dog. Clare is a lovely hostess and very informative of the location. She also provided a beautiful welcome hamper which was much appreciated. We would not hesitate to recommend or return.

Lovely, spacious accommodation with a pub you can walk to and some beautiful beaches and places of interest. We loved the coastal walks to polperro from Looe and whitsands bay and ferry to Plymouth. Fantastic location and beautiful views from the Apartment. The host, Clare is very friendly and accommodating. After a long drive we appreciated the Lovely hamper provided on arrival which included the necessities - milk, bread, butter etc. I would definitely recommend to those wanting to explore South East Cornwall and seeking a relaxing escape.

Despite the weather we had a great holiday. Location of property was great, lots of walks and great places to eat all near by. The property was clean and had everything you needed. Claire left a lovely hamper with scones and local jams which we enjoyed very much.

Excellent stay at Ty Hanner, central for our needs and within easy reach of Plymouth. Clare was an exceptional host and nothing was too much if we needed anything. an area of outstanding beauty,the owners of this cottage are on site and are there if you need any help. The nearest shop is about a mile and half away.There is a local pub which is a very nice place to visit. Do not take a dog here,the roads are very narrow and dangerous.The nearest safe walk for a dog is the beach which is about 5 miles away.My wRead moreife and i did not enjoy this holiday. Hide

Lovely apartment and a great location, quiet and peaceful. The weather was fantastic and we made use of the separate garden and the BBQ! Clare and David were very friendly and welcoming, the hamper provided on arrival was excellent and the Wi-Fi worked a treat. We would definitely stay there again, highly recommended.

Good location and beautiful scenery, with great access to SW coast path, lovely coastline and Bodmin or Dartmoor. The accommodation was clean and comfortable but some areas are ready for updating.
