With 2 bedrooms and several outdoor spaces. Within easy reach of  the nearby beach and local village pubs. This cosy cottage is an opportunity to revel in the gentle pace of the South Cornwall coast. Watch the colourful fishing boats set off at sunrise and marvel at the scenic pleasures of Fowey across the river.


With river views from the main living area, dining room and both bedrooms, this nautical-themed cottage is subtly decorated keeping many of its original features . the kitchen has been thoughtfully decorated and is fully equipped for family cooking. From the kitchen there is a slate patio, which leads to a handy cellar the ideal spot for boat storage. Whether you've spent the day lazing on the beach or taking long coastal and riverside walks, when the night turns chilly, drift off in front of the wood burner to the sound of the waves lapping at the rocks.


The cottages is a scenic 16-mile drive from Well Court to the town of Par, will take you to the world-famous Eden Project. This popular eco-centre is perfect for couples and families eager for an active day out filled with adventure, beautiful gardens and a stunning indoor rainforest. Or, take a ferry over to the historic fishing village of Fowey, walk its narrow streets lined with unique independent shops and try out the many local pubs.

  • Polruan is a quaint little village situated on a very steep hill, so access to some parts of the village can be challenging.
  • Many of the amenities, ferries and cottages in Polruan are accessed via steps some of which can be steep. Please contact us if you have specific requirements.
  • There are many small winding streets that are not suitable for cars, therefore many properties in Polruan do not have private parking. However, there is a large pay and display carpark at the top of the village.

The cottage is very well equipped and comfortable and has beautiful views from the lounge, dining room bedrooms. The log burning stove is easy to light and makes the lounge really cosy. The kitchen is really well equipped and you could easily cook evening meals but there is an excellent Pub just down the lane with great food and a menu which changeRead mores daily. The cottage was in a beautiful location with lovely views over the estuary. The perfect bolthole for a complete getaway from the world. Really quiet, just the sound of the water lapping and bird song. The cottage was very well equipped with everything you need and there was a lovely welcome pack which was a really thoughtful touch. We loved the logRead more burner as the weather was not good and would have loved to have used the sun terrace which was a lovely spot to sit. Two pubs very close by! Hide

Great cottage, well equipped and comfortable. The service offered to get the bags to and from your cottage at the beginning and end of the stay would be something I would definitely invest in next time, as it is a fair way from the drop off point and there are some beautiful but challenging steps if, like me, you're 74!
