Located in a desirable area of West Looe, within walking distance of shops, pubs, restaurants and the beach. The perfect base for your holiday, with picturesque harbours and villages to explore.

This picturesque fishing port of Looe, with its fantastic main town and long sandy beach, has changed very little over the generations and has remained ever popular with visitors since the turn of the century. The town has so much to offer, with a fantastic mix of bistros, pubs, restaurants and independent stores. Enjoy one of the many boat trips, from fishing to a leisurely glass-bottom ride out to the island. Close by is the village of Polperro with a picture-postcard harbour and colourful narrow streets. Attractions in the area include The Monkey Sanctuary, The Adrenalin Quarry, go-karting, Porfell Wildlife Park, The Eden Project and many National Trust properties to name a few.

Heading up the West Looe Hill from the harbour, you will find this listed 17th-century cottage, accessed via a covered alleyway into a small communal courtyard. Enter through the front door and into the cosy lounge on your right with seating and a Smart TV.  This is a great space to relax in front of the impressive inglenook fireplace (discovered during renovation in 2022). Opposite the lounge you will find the kitchen/dining room which is fully equipped with an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge with freezer compartment, dishwasher, washing machine and tumble dryer. Head up the steep cottage-style staircase which splits into two at the top; to the left is the master room with two single beds, which can be zip and linked to provide a super-king bed. There is an additional pull out bed to one side if required. To the right is a comfortable double bedroom.  Accessed via both bedrooms is the Jack and Jill shower room with shower and WC.  Books and games are provided.

Parking can be found in the Council car park, a short distance away. Please note: dogs to be kept on the lead when outside in the shared access. The property has a private water  supply.

Cozy. Well equiped with everything we needed. The dishwasher a bonus. Decor in keeping with the age of the cottage. Comfortable bed and hot shower. Note! Parking is best on Millpool as you can purchase permit for your stay, found this the cheaper option.

The cottage is ideal for a family of 4, the location is great as it's very close to the beach and local restaurants. We had a great holiday and very comfortable stay at the cottage.

Beautiful, quaint, clean, homely cottage with a wonderful welcome pack, everything we needed for our arrival, even treats and poop bags for the dogs. The owner updated us on our way to confirm the property was ready with great communication throughout. The cottage was situation within a short walk to the harbour with lots of great restaurants and sRead morehops. The owner even returned my husbands hoodie that he had left somewhere in the property. Had a fabulous holiday in this beautiful cottage. Well located .Nice touches with the welcome pack of drinks milk scones jam and cream. Would highly recommend.

Lovely friendly host. Delightful and very clean cottage. The kitchen was very well equipped. The beds were very comfortable and I loved waking up with the sun streaming in through the window with a lovely view of the harbour. This cottage is small but perfect for small families and couples. Excellent location with many restaurants on your doorstep.Read more Recommend the Sardine Factory. Bus to Polperro took 20 mins. Cheaper than the ferry. Recommend this property very highly! Hide

The cottage is lovely and very handy for the short walk into town. We used a car park 10 mins walk away 6 for 24 hours to leave the car. No large supermarket in Looe so might be worth booking a delivery slot before you go.
