This charming cottage sits within fifteen acres of picturesque grounds, perfectly placed in the heart of the Cornish countryside and just 8 miles from the coast. Dog walkers and ramblers alike will love the walks around the expansive grounds. There are also many routes for cyclists to enjoy.


The quirkiness of the design, with the lounge and kitchen diner being on the first floor, means that you can enjoy some marvellous views from the lounge area. There is also a balcony with seating, so you can take your coffee there to enjoy the morning sun, or your nightcap to watch the sunset. The bedroom is subtly lit and cosy, to be found on the ground floor, with the unusual aspect of patio doors to the outside. So, you can get even closer to nature on those long summer evenings or bright sunny mornings if you wish.


The Atlantic Coast is a joy for surfers and foodies! Watergate Bay, (8 miles) is very popular with surfers and home to Jamie Oliver's Fifteen Cornwall restaurant. Nearby Newquay (5 miles) offers some of the country's best beaches (it has even been home to the World Surfing Championships) and a fine selection of bars, cafes and restaurants. You are also well placed to visit some of Cornwall's most famous attractions, including the Eden Project (18 miles) and The Lost Gardens of Heligan (13 miles).
