One of four stunning converted barns with six acres of private woodland, perfectly located for anyone wanting to enjoy both Devon and Cornwall

Experience complete and utter freedom on a Cornish getaway for four people. Woodside Willow embraces its surrounding sprawling fields and private woodlands and provides guests with unlimited opportunity to explore. Sitting beside 6 acres of dog-friendly land, 1.5 miles from the meandering River Tamar and just 6.5 miles to the historic town of Plymouth, Saltash is the perfect setting to explore the beauty of South East Cornwall.

Upon entering Woodside Willow, guests are welcomed by an open-plan kitchen/lounge; light and airy, and notable for the exposed beams that support the high apex ceiling, giving a rural barn-like feel that brings the countryside in. Everything feels connected and communal as a family home should, but cosy bedrooms provide privacy when you want to tuck yourself away with a book. As well as access to a shared garden for the four converted barns in the complex, you'll also have your own spacious paved patio garden kitted out with garden furniture, perfect for al fresco dining.

Beyond your holiday home, you can explore the town of Saltash, and have a traditional cream tea. Saltmill Park, with fantastic kid's activities and a gorgeous riverside view, is also a popular spot. History lovers can also find both medieval masterpieces at Trematon Castle (4 miles away) or industrial ingenuity at the famous Royal Albert Bridge, which you'll cross in order to get to Plymouth (11 miles). Whether you seek walks, wanders or wonders, guests have exploration on their doorstep and memories waiting to be made.

Dogs fees are charged per dog at £20.00 for up to 7 nights, £40.00 for up to 14 nights and an additional £20.00 for every week or part week thereafter.

This was my second stay at Woodside Willow. My partner, his Mum and our 2 dogs stayed for 6 days and thoroughly enjoyed it. Claire and Andrew have thought of everything and are extremely friendly and helpful. We would come again next year if we hadn't exhausted the local area! Highly recommended.

North Cornwall

Embark on clifftop wanderings along the South West Coast Path to discover ancient myths and legends; King Arthur at Tintagel Castle, or the giant at the Bedruthan Steps. Surfers flock here to ride the famous swell that carved the dramatic coastline, and Bude and Newquay are havens for the sport. From sandy bays and beaches to the seafood delights of Padstow or thrills of Camel Creek Adventure Park, North Cornwall is brimming with things to do; trails to trek, cream teas to gobble, and adventure to be had.

West Cornwall

Let the history, romance and raw beauty of West Cornwall whisk you through time, into rocky coves and along sweeping sands to Land’s End where the UK slips into the Atlantic. Discover an oasis of flora owed to the rare geology of the Lizard peninsula. You can kayak around Godrevy Island, wander the galleries of St Ives, catch a performance at the open-air Minack Theatre, and still make it to Marazion for dinner: St Michael’s Mount makes the ultimate backdrop.

South Cornwall

Tucked away from the swell of the Atlantic pretty fishing harbours sleep, and lush carpets of greenery roll up to craggy cliffs. Discover the fishing and smuggling history in Kingsand and Cawsand, or walk the South West Coast Path from Fowey to the tiny tidal beach at Readymoney Cove. Sample local ales in St Austell before visiting Charlestown’s tall ships, the enchantments of the Eden Project, or The Lost Gardens of Heligan. From vibrant towns to secret beaches and exhilarating days out, the south has it all.
