Located in an ever popular part of North Cornwall, you will be just a three minute drive from the beautiful sandy beach of Widemouth Bay and eight minutes from the vibrant coastal town of Bude, busy all year round and boasting plenty of shops and restaurants, an 18 hole links golf course, sport and leisure centre, bowling greens, coarse and sea fishing, a choice of beachs and beautiful clifftop walks. The picturesque fishing village of Port Isaac, with fine local cuisine and famed for its association with Doc Martin lies to the west, as does ever popular Padstow and Newquay. Other places of interest accessible from here include King Arthur’s castle, The Eden Project, Crealy Adventure Park, Bodmin Moor, and numerous National Trust properties and gardens, such as Lanhydrock.

Stepping into the delightfully beamed two storey barn conversion you will immediately find yourself in a light and cosy open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner. Here squishy sofas, a Smart TV with DVD and a warming wood burner effect electric fire welcome you into the lounge area. The dining area is beautifully appointed with a contemporary country style kitchen table, settle and dresser and the well appointed kitchen offers an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and washing machine. Heading up the stairs to the first floor you will then discover the bedrooms, each boasting a beautiful double height ceiling with original exposed beams. These comprise a king-size bedroom with en-suite shower and WC, and a delightful little twin bedroom. There is also a separate bathroom with shower over bath and WC.

Heading outside, there is an enclosed private garden to the front of the cottage with lawn area, gravelled patio area, garden furniture and charcoal BBQ. Ample private off-road parking is provided within 10 yards. Shared on-site leisure facilities within about 20 acres of private woodland and farmland include an indoor tennis court, pool table, table tennis, giant outdoor chess,river trout and coarse lake fishing, woodland walks and a kite flying field.

A lovely cosy & homely property. We have often found that in holidays rentals its as if the owners have never stayed in them to know what works and whats needed but this charming house just works. The location is perfect and we fell in love with Cornwall and will 100% return. From the write up, we were surprised at the close proximity of the other Read moreproperties on the site but it was still peaceful and didn't spoil anything. The garden was great for our dog. Would highly recommend. Hide

Lovely stay at Bevilles Barn. Cottage was spotless and had everything we needed. Private garden was peaceful and perfect breakfast spot. We also enjoyed the games room, chess board and tennis court. Short drive to Widemouth Bay and Bude. Highly recommend.

We had a thoroughly enjoyable stay at Bevilles Barn. Very clean and welcoming with all the utensils you could wish for and the added bonus of table tennis/pool table for the competitive boys in our family! A couple of minutes drive from the A39 so very easily accessible to tour the beautiful area but far enough away that you cant hear any noise froRead morem the road, very peaceful. Fabulous accommodation that has all the mod cons you have at home. Spotlessly clean. Comfortable beds. Extra touches like tea, coffee, washing pods and dishwasher tablets really thoughtful. There was even charcoal for the bbq. Barbara the caretaker was really helpful when we requested a sun umbrella for outside...thank you. Great location to explore North Cornwall. Widemouth beach is dog friendly, and the beach cafe is excellent. Bude only a ten minute drive. Cottage is well equipped and the secure garden is great if you have dogs. The barn is one of 8 on the same site, so you may see other guests, however it is still very peaceful and a perfect place to relax.
