Beatrix Potter fans will go spare at the news that the one and only Peter Rabbit is present for the Crealy Theme Park’s Easter event. Kids will be able to meet English literature’s naughtiest rabbit when he appears throughout the Easter period on the park’s Piazza Stage. By using a magic map, your family will be able to track down chocolate eggs that Peter Rabbit has dropped around the park. The whole estate is open too so you can spend the day enjoying the rides to your heart’s content. For more event information visit their website here

Beach and countryside litter picks

beach clean easter

Easter is a good time to get down on the beach and help to pick up some of the unhealthy debris that gets washed in on the high tides and left behind by others. Plastics in the ocean are a modern-day blight and a huge problem for all of us. One way we can do our bit is to get involved with an organised beach clean. There are one or two happening in Cornwall this Easter – see details below.

19th April (11am) - Surfers Against Sewage, Polperro Beach Clean

20th April (10.30am) – Clean Cornwall, Blisland

25th April (12pm) – Clean Cornwall, Three Bays Wildlife Beach Clean at Porth

There are other clean-up events in Cornwall throughout the year too, so keep an eye on websites like National Trust, Cornish Wildlife Trust and the 2 Minute Beach Clean.

We have holiday cottages up and down the Cornish coast suitable for everybody. Whether you are looking for a cosy fisherman’s cottage, a contemporary-style seaside view apartment, a luxurious country house or a simple suburban home-from-home for you and your family, we have a property in our collection to suit your Cornwall holiday!
