A Local's Guide to Millbrook

Right in the midst of the breathtaking Rame Peninsula sits this unassuming village. You’ll be impressed by its huge, glassy lake, acres of parkland, and proximity to the seaside.

The prettiest harbours in Cornwall

We’ve rounded up a fantastic selection of the best harbours in Cornwall to entice you to get some fresh sea air at one of these amazing spots.

An untouched village

Surrounded by water, the sleepy seaside village of Millbrook is in an unspoiled region, and only a short stride from the Devon border and vibrant Plymouth.

The neighbouring Mount Edgcumbe Country Park provides an exhilarating opportunity for discovery as you can explore the wide and varied terrain by Segway!

Anthony House is not far away and was the filming location for Tim Burton’s 2010 movie Alice in Wonderland. You’ll find history a-plenty inside too with magnificent artwork and tapestries.

The Rame Head Peninsula is a playground for fishing and watersports, or for a more sedate past time, Whitsand Bay is a three-mile stretch of sand.

There are shops and pubs in the village, but if you venture further afield, a ferry runs regularly from Torpoint to the City of Plymouth and the famous Plymouth Hoe.
