With panoramic views across the 2 miles of spectacular golden sands of Hayle and across the bay to St Ives, this bungalow is a real treasure nestling on cliffs of the north Cornish coast. At the end of the enclosed garden the South West Coast Path follows a scenic route across cliffs to Godrevy Point or stroll down to Hayle sands (a few hundred yards) with its surf school and long stretch of safe beach. Dogs are welcome all year round on the beach a few hundred yards away.

St Ives, with its galleries, restaurants and picturesque harbour is easily accessible by a pretty coastal railway or bus route if you'd prefer not to take the car. Touring some of the most spectacular sites of Cornwall is made easy from the property. From Lands End to Penzance, down to the Lizard Peninsular you will find a range of ancient stone circles, disused tin mines, excellent attractions for the family and breathtaking beaches and coves. The Bluff Hotel, with a bar and restaurant, is a short stroll and a shop is also within walking distance. For more shops, restaurants, pubs and cinema, Penzance is 4 miles away.

The accommodation is set on one floor and offers three bedrooms. Two bedrooms have brand new king size beds and there is a  twin with 2'6'' beds. The family bathroom has a bath, shower and heated towel rail. The WC is separate. The living room has a magnificent large picture window that takes advantage of the breathtaking views over the garden to the golden sands a few hundred yards away. A TV, freesat, DVD and coal effect gas fire are also situated in the living room. The kitchen/diner is reached from here, well-equipped with electric cooker, ornamental Aga, microwave, fridge, freezer and dishwasher. The utility area is the perfect place to klick off sandy shoes and towel off soggy dogs. It also houses a washing machine and tumble dryer. Outside on the patio area there is seating with a BBQ, small summerhouse with seating and enclosed lawn. From the garden you can enjoy the panoramic views across the bay to St Ives, glass of wine in hand. Take a stroll down the lane towards the South West Coast path and onto the golden sand of Hayle beach with it's safe bathing and acres of room for children and dogs to run around.

  • 4 dogs allowed. Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week
  • There is an Accidental Damage Deposit of £250 when booking at this property, however this may be waived for £30. We’ll provide more details about this when booking your holiday.

Beautiful location . Lovely views Outside light wasn't working but this was dealt with Very quickly after sending a message. Everything you need in property to make your stay perfect .

Second stay and booked a third visit for next year, new beds, mattresss, bed linen and dishwasher fitted this week by the owner. Must be good to book a third visit.

We have stayed st villa surfside several times. Its always spotlessly clean , very comfortable and homely with everything you need , we cannot recommend it enough. There's plenty to see and do locally but you cannot beat the fabulous views from the living room window , from dolphins and seals to winners and surfers , we cannot wait to go back next Read moreyear. Fabulous. The long drive was worth it! Stunning property and stunning views. We all loved it. The dogs had a blast. Lovely little shop also a stone's throw away that sold delicious pasties

You are paying for the view! This property is in bad need of renovation and although it appeared to be clean, the mattresses were disgusting, 6 pillows were badly stained, damp in back bedroom, shower screen and towel rail rusty, windows hadnt seen a window cleaner, garden is overgrown (apart from the lawn), outside of property needs painting, fencRead moree is not secure as picket panels are broken, bottom gate is keep closed by using a breeze block and steps are unsafe, guttering broken. You are paying for the views and the access to the beach which are both completely phenomenal. This is however, not a home from home. Beds either too small, or mattress in significant need of replacement. Appliances need upgrading. We had to re-clean everything by hand. A bit of an unpleasant smell too in the bedrooms. However, it is clean and it iRead mores warm. And if it's just a crash out place you are looking for, then this might tick the box. Value for money makes sense in the winter. Hide

This is the second time we have stayed here. The location is excellent and really fits our family dynamics. We have 3 dogs and the access to the beach is so handy. The property itself meets requirements but could do with some more TLC.

Villa Surfside is in a wonderful location with stunning views across to St Ives and surrounding bays. The beach is vast so never gets overcrowded. This was our 3rd holiday here and it now feels like coming home.

Fantastic location, unrivalled!!! Accommodation needs a bit of tlc as bit tired and few minor repairs needed!! However we had a lovely time, watching the beautiful sunsets every night!!!!!!

This villas location is absolutely amazing, it has panoramic views of the sea, and the sunsets are breathtaking. It has a lovely secure garden for dogs, and youre minutes from a long sandy beach., which in my opinion is the best beach in Cornwall. The villa was clean and comfortable and has everything youd need. Wed definitely stay again.
