This cottage is located in a quiet rural location and yet is just one mile from Rock, a town which has become popular with well-heeled visitors, looking for a break from city life. The beach here is simply stunning and is a particularly lovely place to sit in the evenings and view the lights of Padstow across the estuary. Of course, no visit to the area would be complete without catching the foot-ferry over to this renowned foodie town, with its wealth of eateries, not least Rick Stein’s restaurant, fish and chip café and deli.
This property provides a wonderful base for a Cornish holiday and guests will be enchanted by its rural surroundings and attractive original features, including the beamed ceilings and the slate floors which are found in the lounge and kitchen/diner. The lounge makes for a cosy retreat, with its electric fire, comfortable seating, TV, DVD, and Hi-Fi. The kitchen/diner is just next to the lounge and comfortably seats four at the dining table. You may like to bring home some of the local seafood and prepare it in the well-equipped kitchen which has an oven, fridge with ice compartment, dishwasher, and microwave, as well as radio. There is no washing machine in the property but guests can do laundry by arrangement with the owner. The property has two first-floor bedrooms: a double and a twin, while the tiled bathroom has a shower over bath and WC.
Outside, the property benefits from garden areas with outdoor seating, there is also a gas BBQ.
