Cliff top walks give you the opportunity to meander through beautiful natural landscapes where you might spot a dolphin, basking shark, or seal, and it also gives you the opportunity to explore the interesting fauna in the area as around Land's End is a designated part of an Important Plant Area according to Plantlife.

It’s also a great location for bird watching, with one of Land’s End’s residents being the Cornish Chough, and with a RSPB visitor centre located on the cliff path too, you can find out even more about these fascinating creatures. If you happen to be visiting in the summer, then you will also be greeted with gorgeous bursts of colour in the form of the beautiful plants and flowers that lace the land.

The iconic signpost makes for the perfect photo opportunity and if you ask one of the photographers, it is possible for your home town to be added so you can see how far you’ve travelled. You could even ask for your own message to be added if you wanted something extra special. On a clear day you may be able to see the Isles of Scilly, 28 miles off the coast, but despite the mention on the world famous signpost you might struggle to spot New York, the next dry land is 3147 miles away!

Children will adore a holiday in Land’s End, which now has a variety of attractions and activities for all to enjoy. Learn all about the legend of King Arthur as told by Brian Blessed and enjoy a 4D cinema experience as you travel into the depths of the ocean with 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea.
