Things to do in Cornwall in the rain

Don't let the wet weather stop you from exploring - there are some fantastic attractions and things to do on a rainy day in Cornwall!

A beautiful town

While there is no denying that St Ives is naturally beautiful, defining what a traditional Cornish seaside town should be like, the town has grown into so much more than that, becoming a renowned holiday destination; Tate St Ives has been one of the main reasons for this. One of only two Tate galleries outside of London, it kickstarted the now buzzing art scene within the town, and its recent expansion reaffirms the town's status as the art capital of Cornwall.

That being said, people still flock to this town for its sheer beauty. On a sunny day, there are few better spots to be in the South West, with the crystal clear waters lapping up onto the sandy beach, local sailing boats bobbing in the harbour, and glorious views across the sea. The great quality of restaurants throughout the town, along with the surf at Porthminster beach, make this a fantastic holiday destination, and we have plenty of cottages with sea views for you to pick from.
