A fantastic backdrop

Land’s End is just around the corner from Sennen, and is the most south-westerly point of the mainland. A scoot along the coast brings you to the Lizard, Cornwall’s most southerly point. This whole magical area is tied to legends of ghosts and ghouls, pixies and mermaids and tales of mythical creatures that warn of the bad weather and impending doom! On the subject of theatricals, the wonderful open-air amphitheatre, The Minack Theatre is close by with the fantastic backdrop of the Atlantic Ocean.

In Sennen itself, there are restaurants and cafes serving fresh and locally-sourced dishes, and friendly pubs for a cheeky pint following a dip in the sea, while the thriving community supports several local schools, including the sought-after Humphry Davy School.
