From here you can spend a day or two walking a few miles of the South West Coast Path to experience the rugged beauty and tranquil nature of the route before returning home to your cosy abode to relax.

Next door is the spacious kitchen/diner with neutral decor and ample space to prepare a meal which can be served up on the wooden dining table seating four. Upstairs lie the two bedrooms, a double room and a bunk room for children, as well as a bathroom, all of which can be accessed from the brightly lit hall. Outside in the garden, there is a set of garden furniture where you can dine alfresco and soak up the farmyard views. You’ll also have the opportunity to take a tour of the working farm by prior arrangement to see the sheep, cogs, pigs and pygmy goats which reside on the land.
Nicely situated on the Devon/Cornwall border, you can make the most of both counties during your stay. Travel 8 miles to the bustling centre of Bude where you’ll find plenty of opportunities to shop and eat along the coast, as well as three golden beaches which are known as great spots for surfing and swimming. Venture inland to Roadford Lake (14 miles) and hire a stand up paddleboard, canoe or kayak to glide along the water before stopping off at the cafe for a bite to eat. Or visit Lifton Farm (16 miles) where you can pick sunflowers, strawberries, lavender and pumpkins at various times of the year, picking up freshly picked local produce in the marvellous farm shop onsite.
