This contemporary property is conveniently situated within walking distance of Charlestown’s Georgian harbour, a fabulous spot which has served as the setting for TV’s Poldark series and where you can (occasionally) discover The Tall Ships. You will be spoilt for choice by the selection of fine pubs and restaurants catering for all tastes. Carlyon bay has a fabulous coastline with some lovely walks, sheltered coves and traditional fishing villages. Attractions include the Eden Project, The Ship Wreck centre, Lost Gardens of Heligan, Poldark Mine, and Cardinham Woods. National Trust properties nearby include Lanhydrock House with its expansive grounds.

You can sit back in the roomy but snug lounge area and watch TV situated above the charming wood burner. The breezy dining area is situated between the lounge and kitchen and enjoys a delightful view across the patio. Also on the ground floor is a utility room with washing machine and tumble dryer and WC. Upstairs you will find three spacious, bright and cosy bedrooms. The master king-size bedroom is en-suite with shower and WC. You will also find one king-size and one twin bedroom. There is a separate bathroom, complete with bath, separate shower and WC.

Heading outside via the bi-fold doors in the dining area, you will find a lovely enclosed patio area complete with garden furniture so you can enjoy the peace and quiet of this ideal location. Off-road parking is available for one car.

The accommodation is outstanding, everything is beautiful, well thought out and taste full. The equipment is expensive and the quality is high. I would highly recommend this property.

Lovely house in a private little cul de sac. Everything you could possibly need provided in the high-end kitchen. Bedrooms were comfy and the bathrooms very well appointed - excellent rain shower! Pretty little Cornish village with a fantastic range of high end restaurants as well as the usual beach front cooking huts (BBQ, seafood, pizza, etc). We enjoyed a very comfortable and relaxing stay in this lovely house. We'd been in touch with the owners beforehand and they couldn't have been more helpful. Lovely open-plan kitchen and lounge area and a nice private outdoor eating area. Bathroom / en-suite facilities were top class.

The house is beautiful, well equipped, great location, car parking space is not very big, only small or medium car will fit, there is a car park just down the road. Charlestown is a beautiful location our fourth visit you never tire of it. I would recommend this house . 10 out of 10.

Midships was a perfect accommodation everything g we needed in such a lovely location , the house was perfect , comfortable and stylish , only a 2 min walk to harbour , beach and all pubs , cafes and gift shops , a 10 min walk to the nearest food shop but it was perfect . .

Fabulous property in great location. Very comfortable for our party of 5. Plenty of kitchen stuff and bonus of washing machine and drier. Lovely balance of modern with comfort and the jigsaw and scrabble were welcome on one rainy afternoon! Parking space could be a challenge for some especially for larger vehicles.

We had a wonderful time. Great modern home, fantastic location and not far to access a lot of Cornwall . Very picturesque place. The cottage had gated private parking which worked for unloading and loading of our cases etc. lots of equipment in house, one en-suite and one full bathroom together with downstairs toilet.
