This cosy cottage is an ideal location for family and group getaways. The cottage faces south and the terrace has the nickname 'Frying Pan Row,' because it gets so warm at the front of the property. Close to the sandy shores of Bude yet within a traditional setting, you’ll enjoy a charming break with easy access to local attractions, stunning landscapes and heritage sites. Sleeping up to six people, the property offers ambient accommodation and a pleasant rear courtyard to enjoy. The town is strategically placed, so visitors will have every opportunity to explore the wonderful coastline surrounding the area as well as the South West Coast Path. A few miles to the north will bring you into Devon, where the village of Clovelly can be found with its steep cobbled streets. Alternatively, travel down to the south which will bring you to Boscastle with its 700 foot cliffs or Tintagel, which is rich in legends and history.
Upon entering this delightful cottage, you’ll notice its warming and welcoming atmosphere as soon as you step through the front door. The light and airy lounge at the front of the cottage leads off from the entrance hallway and offers comfortable seating, a toasty feature open fireplace and Smart TV for entertainment. The separate dining area provides a perfect space for enjoying home cooked meals and features a warming gas fire, a small TV and French doors that open onto the rear enclosed courtyard. The traditionally styled cottage kitchen includes an electric oven, gas hob, fridge/freezer, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine and tumble dryer for your convenience. Upstairs is accessed by narrow cottage-style steps and here you’ll find four comfortable bedrooms. This floor offers two double bedrooms, two single bedrooms and a bathroom with shower over bath and WC. There is also a separate WC downstairs.
From here the cottage can also be accessed along a short pathway and two gates, one of which is shared only with the owner who resides in a neighbouring detached annexe and assures your privacy. Heading through the further gate and into the private enclosed courtyard, there is storage available for body boards and from here there is a door leading into the kitchen.
