Once here immerse yourself in village life, vibrant at times although at an altogether slower pace, with its river fronting traditional green and pub. Enjoy stunning walks following the river as it meanders downstream. Visit the impressive Restormel Castle and the harbour towns of Fowey and Charlestown. Fowey boasts some fine eateries, inns and individual boutiques and Charlestown featured in the Poldark series is a perfect place to relax on the quay. Attractions in the area include The Eden Project, The Ship Wreck Centre, Lost Gardens of Heligan, Poldark Mine, St Michaels Mount and National Trust properties including nearby Lanhydrock house.

From the gated entrance a handful of steps lead you to the front door, where one will be greeted by the large and welcoming lounge/kitchen/diner, benefiting from stunning river views. The lounge area is a perfect space to enjoy a lazy morning with a good book before starting on your day's adventures. For winter weekends crank up the wood burner whilst you relax on the sofa and enjoy your favourite movie on the Smart TV. For the cooks amongst you take your culinary inspiration from the local seafood on offer and indulge yourself in the well-appointed kitchen with electric oven and induction hob and microwave. Just off from the kitchen is the useful utility room with washing machine, fridge, freezer and dishwasher, WC and door to the garden area. Located down a flight of stairs from the kitchen/utility is the snug room with a TV and comfy beanbags. The perfect place to relax in. From the lounge, cottage style stairs lead up to the four bedrooms, one super-king-size zip-and-link (which can be made into a twin on request) and a twin bedroom both with views across the river and green, a king-size with views overlooking the garden and a super-king-size with an en-suite shower and WC, this bedroom also has the added benefit of a large dressing room and private doors that lead to the garden and decking area. The bathroom located on the first floor is equipped with stylish fixtures and fittings and comprises of a roll top bath, separate shower and WC.

Heading outside relax in the wonderful split level garden in the heart of the village with steps up to decked terrace and BBQ, overlooking the river and village green. You can also sit back and enjoy the river views in the private hot tub located next to the decked area.

This was our second stay at this property, but this time we took our parents. The house is spacious enough to feel that we weren't on top of each other. The large enclosed garden was lovely for our dog. The hot tub is in a lovely spot for evening dip and a gin and tonic !! The local pub yet again was spot on, warm and friendly.
