Outside, discover two fantastic seating areas: a south-facing decked terrace to sit and sip an aperitif in the sunshine and a gorgeous rear garden with a lawn and patio. The shared heated indoor pool is approx. 50 metres from the cottage and includes a massage room, summer kitchen and shower.
Just 7.5 miles away is the ancient stannary town of Tavistock. The town, which holds World Heritage Site status, has a great selection of independent shops, as well as a vibrant pannier market and regular farmers’ market. It’s a great place to pick up local produce and crafts. On the edge of Dartmoor National Park, you’ll find Lydford Gorge (16 miles). This enchanting National Trust site has the deepest river gorge in the South West, as well as a 30m high waterfall. It’s a truly magical place and offers the chance to admire a huge variety of rare plants and wildlife.
