This delightful property nestles in the grounds of the owners’ home in a secluded setting, just a short drive from the coast, and provides a comfortable couples’ retreat whatever the time of year.

Located just a short drive from the expansive sandy beach at Crackington Haven you really will be able to enjoy the best of both the coast and country. Crackington itself boasts a pub and cafe, both located next to the beach, together with access to the glorious South West Coast Path where you can discover secluded coves and enjoy the beautiful scenery. Also close by, Widemouth Bay offers an expansive sandy beach and just slightly further the ever-popular town of Bude is home to more beaches, a selection of shops, supermarkets and canal walks. Other places of interest nearby are the delightful fishing villages of Port Isaac, Padstow, Rock, Tintagel and Boscastle, scenic Bodmin Moor, Camel Valley Vineyard and numerous National Trust properties.

Step inside this pretty property and you will immediately find yourself in the spacious and light lounge/kitchen/diner. Here, comfortable sofas (including sofa bed) are arranged around a Smart TV/DVD, and a set of glass patio doors provide stunning countryside views and access to outside. Located beside this is a pretty dining area which provides a lovely venue for relaxed meals, plus you will also find the kitchen to be perfectly appointed with an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and also a washing machine. As the accommodation is handily arranged on the one level, you only need to venture further inside to discover the beautiful bedroom. This elegant room has a contemporary country aesthetic and boasts a king-size bed, French doors to the outside, and an en-suite shower and WC.

Venturing outside, further highlights await in the form of a fabulous large, enclosed lawn garden with a spacious patio area offering gorgeous views, garden furniture and a charcoal BBQ. Here, you can relax in style after a day of exploring and if you catch the right season, you’ll also be able to watch the lambs play in the neighbouring field. There is also private off-road parking for two cars located on the driveway.

The cottage is lovely and super clean. It has a big garden which the dog loved and plenty of seating areas to catch the sun. The nearest beach is Crackington Haven about 4 miles away. It would have been nice to be able to walk the dog somewhere from the cottage but it would have meant walking some distance on the road which we didn't fancy doing . A lovely quiet location, the view from the cottage and the patio area is amazing. Great garden for dogs to run and owners to relax on the comfortable garden furniture . Short drive to coastal walks and interesting coves. Good shop just down the lane from property.

A lovely cottage in a fabulous location. It was so clean and comfortable, with a great garden for us and our dogs. Cliff and AJ were great hosts. We left feeling relaxed and refreshed. Would most definitely recommend and we hope to return.

Lovely cottage and everything you need is there. Garden was brilliant for my 2 dogs, with no worries of them getting out. Hosts were lovely and very friendly. Getting in and out of the drive took some maneuvering, but was okay once you got used to it. Would definitelu stay again! X

This is an excellent cottage in a country location with a secure garden suitable for our Jack Russell dog . This was our second visit which we thoroughly enjoyed. Many beaches are within 30 mins of the cottage

Lovely cosy bungalow. Always a warm place to go back to which was hugely appreciated with the wet and windy weather we had! Had everything we needed and was in a great location. The enclosed garden was perfect for our 2 Springer Spaniels and I can imagine it would be a lovely place to sit in the warmer weather. Would definitely recommend.

Comfortable, well equipped cottage in a lovely quiet location. Safe enclosed garden for our little dog. Beautiful countryside views and so many lovely places to visit close by. Would certainly come and stay again.

Very nice little cottage in an excellent location. Owners very friendly and welcoming,. Lovely patio at rear, with great views over fields (but watch out for territorial barn owls next door!). Beautiful cottage in the most picturesque setting. We could have sat all week looking out at the views but did manage to tear ourselves away to explore the local area! Great suggestions left by the owners for walks and places to eat. The garden was fully enclosed and secure so perfect for the dog. A very comfortable, clean and well appointed/maintained cottage. Good base for exploring the coast. Gardens surrounding the cottage are fenced off keeping our little dog from escaping, giving peace of mind. Wonderful views over open countryside, lots of wildlife.

Lovely cottage with amazing views of the countryside. The garden is fully enclosed so perfect for dogs to have a run around. There are lots of beaches a short drive away along with Bude, Boscastle and Port Isaac all of which are lovely places to visit.

Beautiful place to relax and unwind, views from accommodation were fabulous. Very clean and well equipped. Garden is well cared for and very secure for our small dog. Beaches in surrounding area are very clean and lovely walks along cliff tops.

A lovely well equipped cottage that was very clean and warm. Had everything we needed and the dogs loved the secure garden. Owners greeted us on arrival and were there if we needed anything. Lovely Christmas decorations and welcome hamper. Even with all the snow and ice we still managed to get out and about as the owners salted the drive for us. Our hosts were lovely and very polite, cottage was home from home as we live in a bungalow, views were wonderful and the cottage was very warm and cosy. Visiting places were within 5-10 miles of Bude, Tintagel, Boscastle and Crackington Haven.

Just come home from a very relaxing week at Sunnyside Cottage. The owners were very welcoming & there if we needed them, but otherwise left us to our own devices.
