This pretty property nestles in a laidback village setting with the pub a gentle stroll, yet is just a short drive to the spectacular beaches of the North Cornwall Coast including Bude and Widemouth Bay.

Alternatively, venture inland and spend a day exploring Bodmin Moor, a haven for wildlife and offering an array of stunning scenery. Other attractions and places of interest accessible from this great location include the picturesque coastal villages of Port Isaac, Padstow, Rock, Tintagel and Boscastle, and numerous National Trust properties and gardens.

This is a perfect place to catch up on a morning newspaper or relax in the evening. The final room on the ground floor is the brilliantly sociable kitchen/diner which boasts a set of French doors leading to the outside, meaning that you can dine alfresco with ease during warm weather. Also perfectly appointed and well equipped is the kitchen which boasts a range of appliances including an electric oven and gas hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and also a washing machine. Head up the stairs and onto the first floor where you will discover the beautiful bedrooms, all lovingly presented in a fresh and individual style. We had a lovely holiday at this cottage - their philosophy is it should feel like home and it did. We are a family of 5 and my little boy had his birthday during our stay so everything worked out really well. Property is in a nice location and close to Bude - 5 minutes in car and easily accessible to the Atlantic Highway so have access to main road to explore around North Cornwall and Devon.

Great base for a family of 5. We've visited 2 years in a row now and its ideal as a house where you can spend as much or as little time there as you need! A wonderful cottage situated in a quaint village with lovely locals. Comfortable, immaculately clean and well equipped, it was the perfect base to explore Cornwall from! On the days where we really couldn't beat the rain, we were thrilled to find a well stocked bookcase. The addition of a TV upstairs was much appreciated by our children too. Great location, well equipped and perfect holiday home for a family of 5. Cosy lounges, clean and good facilities. Well stocked village shop 4 min walk away, and fabulous 2 mile walk along the canal to get to Bude. Only 5 min drive to Bude.
