The coastal village of Downderry is a much sought-after location on the Cornish coast with a beautiful shingle and sandy beach, some cafes, bars and a shop all within walking distance. The beaches at Seaton and Downderry are perfect for walking your four-legged friend all year round. Why not take a day trip to the nearby fishing villages of Looe (6 miles), Polperro (11 miles), Kingsands and Cawsands (both 9 miles). Close by you have the beautiful Mount Edgcumbe House and Country Park(9 miles) with walks and views for all of the family to enjoy. There are many other activities to do with The Eden Project (29 miles), and numerous National Trust properties all within easy reach. Or why not try an exhilarating day out for the whole family at the nearby Adrenalin Quarry (9 miles) or a trip to the Wild Futures Monkey Sanctuary (3 miles) to name just two.

Tucked away in a private cul-de-sac, enter the property via the front door and into the entrance hallway which leads you to a light and bright kitchen with electric oven and hob, dishwasher, microwave, undercounter fridge and washer dryer. The kitchen back door leads you into a very useful boot room which houses a large freezer, coat hooks and a shoe rack - this is a very useful place to kick off the walking boots or store your beach items. Moving back to the entrance of the property, a dining room can be found next to the kitchen and offers a warm and welcoming space for the whole party to enjoy a meal. Moving through an archway you’ll find a spacious bright lounge with comfy seating and smart TV for you to enjoy your favourite programmes after a busy day exploring the county. You also have the luxury of a second lounge by way of the conservatory which also benefits from outstanding views of the sea, a spot you’ll not want to leave, with great viewing of the wildlife in the garden where you will see an array of local and migratory birds. This room has sliding doors accessing the gardens. The three bedrooms are situated off the main hallway. The first a good size single with ample storage and sea views, and across the hallway is a separate toilet, which leads down towards the stylish wet room complete with shower and WC. The next room is a double room with a shower cubicle, and there’s a separate adjoining single bedroom with views of the sea and plenty of natural light, the perfect place for a child to sleep next door to parents. The master bedroom is across the hall and is a stunning room which offers a king-size bed together with absolutely breath-taking sea views through the enormous windows and plenty of storage space with the luxury of separate access onto the patio area, making it the perfect place to enjoy a morning coffee whilst taking in the sea air and views.

Outside is a pleasant south-facing garden laid to lawn with a patio area and stunning sea views, as well as private access to the beach below via steps.  Three's also an old workshop for guest use, storing BBQ, garden games and outdoor furniture cushions - a handy place to store your buckets and spades! Private off-road parking for 3 cars.

We enjoyed our stay at Ndaba, especially the easy access to the beach, a glass making experience at Glass Shack, and a meal & beer at the Inn on the Shore - both just a short walk away.

Not sure I want to leave a review as I don't want anyone else to know about this place but in fairness to owners I will. Everything extremely clean. I ALWAYS wash surfaces/crockery/etc but actually didn't this time. Wonderful location/setting. Bungalow easily accessible and comfortable. I didn't want to leave. We will be returning.
