This cottage occupies a tranquil setting on a working farm on the National Trust coastline, just north of the beautiful sandy cove at Crackington Haven. A short walk down the farm track takes you directly onto the beautiful South West Coast path, where you can decide to head south to Crackington Haven or north to Widemouth Bay. There are over four beaches to choose from close by. The local beach is great for surfing, swimming, rock pooling and watching the sunset. Under 10 miles away, the seaside town of Bude offers several beaches to enjoy as well as a sea pool. There’s also an array of independent shops, restaurants and pubs, plus a golf course, ten-pin bowling and a boating lake. Just 13 miles away are Tintagel and Boscastle, which are both steeped in history.

Stepping into this family home you will feel a warm and homely atmosphere throughout. It boasts a wonderful blend of charm and character, with original beams, exposed granite fireplaces, and traditional furnishings. Enter the dining room, which has seating for all and is perfect for a special meal while the wood burner crackles in the background. Enjoy a night in playing games, reading in the cosy snug, or relax in the lounge and watch your favourite programmes on the Smart TV or have a go on the piano. Head through to the open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner, where there’s even more space for all the family. The kitchen area is equipped with an AGA, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, electric cooker and hob, and a microwave. Here you can enjoy socialising with friends and family or plan a fun-filled day ahead over breakfast at the dining table, which has seating for all. Relax on the comfortable sofa or armchair and watch the TV. Completing this floor is a utility room with a washing machine and a separate WC. Make your way up to the first floor from the dining room, via the half-spiral stone staircase - watch your head! On this floor you’ll find a king-size bedroom with an en-suite bathroom featuring a free-standing roll-top bath and separate WC; another king-size bedroom with beautiful views across the garden and plenty of storage; and a family bedroom with a king-size bed, a single bed, and an en-suite shower room with shower and WC. Lastly, completing the inside you’ll find a family shower room with a shower and WC.

Step outside into the beautiful, private garden which has outdoor furniture and a charcoal BBQ - perfect for dining alfresco. Enjoy relaxing outside on a long summer evening after a busy day walking or at the beach. There is private parking for up to four cars.

Beautiful farm house , stunning garden and lovely area. Hosts ensured we knew how to contact them should the need arise. Would love to go back and would highly recommend.

A wonderful and beautifully maintained cottage fully equipped with everything one might need to make a perfect holiday. The location is stunning with amazing views and walks at your doorstep.

We had a wonderful week at the cottage. It was so comfortable and cosy. There was everything you needed. It was a joy to cook in the lovely kitchen using the Aga. We also used the log burner in the kitchen/lounge in the evenings. The owners, Rachel and Chris, were so welcoming and kind. They really made us feel at home.
