Situated in the fantastic town of Bude, this spacious and wonderfully presented house is the perfect holiday home for a family or couples looking to explore the fantastic coastline.

Located in rugged, idyllic North Cornwall, the region offers some of the best scenery in the west with its lovely cliff-top walks and quiet sheltered coves to explore. Bude is popular with families with its sandy beach, outdoor swimming pool, and surfing spots like the neighbouring Widemouth Bay which is just 4.5 miles away. The area is also best known for Tintagel Castle ruins (19.5 miles) and Boscastle (14 miles) with its picture-postcard harbour. Other popular visitor attractions include The Big Sheep, The Milky Way, and Clovelly, all within 24 miles. The town is vibrant and you can enjoy a meal in one of the local pubs and restaurants or take a trip out of town to the independent Rebel Cinema, 5 miles away.

Enter the property into a wonderful large hallway with plenty of space for hats and coats. Immediately to your left is the bright and light kitchen/diner complete with gas range-style cooker, microwave, dishwasher, fridge/freezer, washing machine, and tumble dryer – the perfect place to socialise whilst cooking up a meal with family. Moving through to the dining area is a gorgeous large dining table and chairs so plenty of space to sit and eat whilst looking out over the garden through the patio doors. Directly opposite the kitchen is the dual aspect lounge with plenty of seating together with a smart TV and an array of books to enjoy on the bookshelf. Next door is the playroom with a daybed and smart TV; this room also boasts a games console which should keep the children (and some adults) occupied on a rainy day or of an evening. In the spacious hallway is a door to a handy WC. Up the stairs are three bedrooms, one master bedroom with king-size bed and en-suite shower room and WC, one light and bright twin bedroom, and one double bedroom. The family bathroom is also on this floor and offers a shower over bath and WC.

Outside is a wonderful, enclosed garden with a lawn and patio area. Off-road private parking is available for one larger car or two smaller cars.

Beautiful, large house in a lovely location, close to everything. The back garden is not overlooked and safe for children and dogs. Beds were really comfortable. Kitchen well equipped. Off road parking. Lots of thoughtful additions to the house. Only thing to consider if anyone is elderly or disabled, is the first step up to the front door. It's quRead moreite steep. But to the left of the step it is easier, with the help of the wall to hold on to. The back gate is to the side of the front door. Hide

A lovely big, well equipped property in a great location to explore north east Cornwall, or west Devon. The walk in to Bude along the canal was really nice and we played Pooh Sticks each time going over the bridge! Lots of good places to eat and drink within 10 mins walk and 15 minutes to the beach which is beautiful.

Fabulous property, so glad we found it! Great location, lovely canal walk into town or the beach. Plenty of choice for supermarkets within very short drive. All three generations in our group felt so comfortable in the extremely clean, well equipped family home. Great little garden too, very safe for the 3yr old we had with us. Very quiet location Read moredespite it being in a built up area. Definitely recommend staying here and we hope to return very soon. Hide

Berries house is a fantastic place to stay. Very nice, light and spacious accommodation, in a quiet area, and really close to town. It's about half an hour's walk, or 5 minutes drive, to Crooklets Beach. And do try the Lightning bakery, round the corner; Rosie's at Crooklets and The Deck (for dinner) just above Summerleaze
