Great place to stay. The house has everything you need for a comfortable holiday. Location is superb, with a supermarket just down the road and great road links. Charlestown is one of my favourite places, so even though there was work going on at the harbour, its good to see it's being well kept. Even bumped into a film crew while we were there, fiRead morelming with Noel Fielding. Hide

This is a lovely light and airy house with a good secure garden for a dog(s). Its very well positioned for getting around Cornwall. To avoid parking issues we used the train and from Par. We visited St Ives, Falmouth, Mevagissey and Fowey. Charlestown is within walking distance and Par beach is close by and great for dogs.

Absolutely lovely house and garden .The only point I wish to make it's is a dog friendly environment supposed to be ,but they were not aloud on the couches .Lucky we bought covers for the sofas or it would have being a major issue .

We really enjoyed our stay, the property was ideal for our family group and family dog. The garden is 100% secure, this meant we could relax and allow Lema to roam without any worries about her escaping. Ideally located to walk to Charlestown where there are some nice places to eat (best to book in advance as can be full). The beach is a pleasant 1Read more0-15 mins direct walk, there is a car park (5 per day) if that is too far. We would be happy to return again at some stage. Hide

A beautifully presented house with everything you needed for a comfortable stay. Plenty of supermarket choice nearby. A bar and pub close by, and more in Charlestown a short distance away. Beach is within walking distance (but not if carrying chairs etc) and dog friendly - a bonus!

Overall we loved the property and I'm very grateful the owner agreed to let me take my cat for the week, it worked out even better than I had hoped. The facilities were everything you would expect and it's in one of my favourite areas with lovely walks right on the doorstep.

A great week. The house is clean and well-equipped, very pleasant. Local to lots of beaches/walks if you enjoy exploring. Visiting the Eden project at this off-peak time was fantastic and it's so close. Would recommend and stay again. (Note an earlier comment about parking - we parked our 5m length campervan alongside using the gravel area).
