This delightful retreat is tucked away in the traditional village of Whitstone and is conveniently placed for touring both Devon and Cornwall with ease. Discover a fabulous array of fishing villages such as the historic Boscastle (17 miles) and the mythical Tintagel (21 miles), famed for the legends of King Arthur and the Knights of the Round Table. There are coastal and countryside routes aplenty, including rugged off-road tracks inland and of course, the ever-popular South West Coast Pat – a fantastic excuse to get those walking boots out of the cupboard and feel the crackle of twigs beneath your feat. Popular day trips include Bude (8.5 miles) with its golden sandy beaches and turquoise waters, Dartmoor National Park (23 miles) and Launceston Steam Railway (10 miles).

Upon entering this beautiful cottage you will soon notice the stunning blend of original and contemporary features the property has on offer. The retreat has three levels with bedrooms situated on each floor, providing convenience for all preferences. Starting on the ground floor, you will find a well-equipped kitchen combined with the separate utility room – these spaces provide everything you will need for a stress-free and convenient stay, whilst there are multiple dining areas to choose from including the kitchen table, ideal for your morning cuppa, and the formal dining room which is accessed directly next door. Moving on from the dining space you’ll find the cosy snug room, perfect for relaxing with a book whilst enjoying the views across the rolling fields and garden. There is also a Smart TV provided. Stepping up the small flight of stairs from the hallway will bring you to the light and spacious lounge, complete with comfortable sofas from which you can enjoy your favourite films on the Smart TV. Completing this room is the beautiful brick open fireplace and of course, the floor-to-ceiling windows that provide fabulous views from every seat. The final floor takes you to the two largest bedrooms within the property. The first is a super-king-size zip-and-link (which can be made into a twin on request) and accompanying en-suite shower room with WC. The second bedroom consists of a double bed with an accompanying en-suite bathroom. There are two bedrooms on the ground floor, one of which has a double bed, and the other a bunk room. Both of these lovely bedrooms provide ample clothing space. The final bedroom is the twin zip-and-link (which can be made into a super-king-size on request) on the lower ground floor, and completing this wonderful interior as a whole is the family shower room.

Guests can access the rear garden via French doors from the kitchen, snug room and dining room, alongside the side entrance of the home. This outdoor space is situated upon multiple levels and provides a lawn area, patio with comfortable outdoor seating and a BBQ – the perfect combination from which to enjoy evenings under the stars whilst indulging in those beautiful views.
