This former farmhouse features impressive architectural design; the original character has been lovingly complemented with contemporary touches, making it the perfect family retreat. Set in South Cornwall in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB), close to the Devon and Cornwall border, you are spoilt for a choice of things to do locally. Hike up to the National Trust’s Cadsom Bury Hill Fort for fabulous views, or explore the Tamar Valley AONB, which is scattered with more historic sites and unforgettable walking routes. This countryside hideaway is ideally located to explore both the Cornwall coasts, Downderry beach is within 10 miles and the popular fishing town of Looe within 12 miles.  Bodmin Moor and Dartmoor National Park are also within easy reach.  Thrill seekers will enjoy close by Adrenaline Quarry for zip lining, go-carting and water park. The world famous Eden Project is just 45 minutes away, here you can stroll around the largest indoor rain forest in the world and experience the Mediterranean climate while enjoying activities, stories and thousands of plant species.

It’s the perfect place to relax with the family to chat about your day or watch a film on the Smart TV. The stunning dining room boasts a bespoke, handcrafted reclaimed teak table, quarry-tiled floors, and plenty of seating for the whole family. Off from here is a mezzanine king-size bedroom with a glass balustrade, featuring an en-suite shower room and a stunning Juliet balcony with countryside views. Back down the stairs and through to the wonderful farmhouse kitchen, you will find everything you need to cook up a delicious family meal. From the kitchen, you will find a small hallway with a handy shower room and WC, and the utility room. There is also a comfortable second lounge area with a stunning outlook, comfortable reclining sofas, a wood burner plus another Smart TV, the perfect place to snuggle up for some quiet time after a long day. Upstairs, there are three bedrooms: a twin, a king-size with dual aspects and wonderful countryside views and a super-king-size room with another fabulous outlook. Completing this floor is a bright bathroom.

Cobbledicks House was a stunning place to stay. The owners have clearly tried to think of everything, like the amount of different types of glasses and cups, plates etc to use. The cottage was clean and furnished to a very high standard. They even thought about the pets and left a bowel and a towel for them. Beautiful, cosy cottage, we wanted for nothing. Well presented and ample space for 7/8 people. I would recommend and return anytime on this experience. Great river walks and a 5 minute drive to the village. Well done and thank you Cobbledicks!

Amazing gorgeous cottage , fantastic attention to detail, very well equipped. Had a outstanding welcome, with welcome gift basket, even milk in the fridge!!. Property was decorated beautifully for Christmas, had a Christmas message from owner. Guide book was thorough and had recommendations locally. Cobbledicks Cottage was an amazing getaway for me and my friends. Having two separate lounges with TVs really helped and multiple bedrooms with detachable double-beds. The neighbours are absolutely lovely and Newbridge is a beautiful place right next to a nice walk beside the river. A very nice cottage located just across the bridge to a lovely walk through woods with a river running along the side. . Beautifully furnished with everything you need and very comfortable. A real gem of a find, home from home. We loved our stay here and would definitely recommend.
