The seaside village of Portreath has a superb sandy beach, popular with surfers and families alike, and from this property it is just a stone's throw from the front door. There is a selection of shops and pubs to choose from in the village, so if you don't want to drive you don't have to, as everything you need is close by. If you do decide to explore further afield, the location of the property makes much of Cornwall easily accessible, particularly via the A30. Head to the cobbled streets of St Ives, surfer's haven Newquay, the Eden Project, or even Land's End, England's most westerly point.
The elevated position of this property means it benefits from fantastic views of the sea and beach, particularly from the living areas. The open plan lounge/kitchen/diner offers panoramas across the coast line and the village itself, so you can relax in your holiday home admiring the landscape come rain or shine. The lounge has a large comfortable sofa, ideal for sitting back on and watching something on the TV with DVD, with patio doors leading outside, and there is a superb dining table to seat up to four people in case you decide to stay home and dine rather than venture out. The chic, contemporary kitchen has sleek granite worktops and everything you could need during your break away, with an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge, freezer, dishwasher and washing machine. Both bedrooms in the property are spacious and bright, one with a double bed, the other with twin zip-and-link beds that can be made into a double on request. The shower room is in a wet room style, and has a WC.
The enclosed patio area to the front of the property has seating for you to sit and watch the world go by as the sea laps against the shore and you enjoy a glass of wine or cup of tea.
