Rock is an exceptional holiday destination that offers a perfect blend of natural beauty and exciting attractions. Situated on the stunning North Cornwall coast, this picturesque village is a paradise for beach lovers and water enthusiasts. With its pristine sandy beaches and crystal-clear waters, Rock provides an ideal setting for sunbathing, swimming, and a variety of water sports. You will find a bakery, delicatessen, and handy shop all within 1 mile of the cottage and the short, pretty walk through fields to the beach (1.5 miles) makes this the perfect spot to stay. Catch the passenger ferry to Padstow, with an array of gourmet restaurants and foodie experiences. History enthusiasts can explore the fascinating Tintagel Castle, situated just 14 miles from Rock, where the legend of King Arthur comes to life. Furthermore, the beautiful village of Port Isaac, famous for its appearance in the TV series Doc Martin, is within 8 miles.

As you enter the cottage, you will notice the thoughtful, tasteful decor inside, with style and comfort the clear objectives. First, step into the warm, sociable kitchen, where you can perch on one of the bar stools whilst your friends and family whip up a special meal or a reviving cup of coffee. A door leads from the kitchen to the contemporary bathroom with a rainfall shower over the bath. The other door from the kitchen leads down into the calm, peaceful lounge with local artwork adorning the walls and sumptuous sofas to cosy up on after a hard day exploring. In colder months, you can even light up the wood burner. Patio doors lead out from the lounge to the front of the cottage where you can sit and relax on a bistro table and chairs set and listen to the sound of nature all around you. Upstairs, you will find the master bedroom with a king-size bed with an en-suite WC, a large chest of drawers and bedside units. The second bedroom has a super-king bed that can be changed to two single beds if required ( please request at the time of booking) and comes with a wardrobe, chest of drawers and bedside units.

The wonderful garden boasts mature hedges and trees which help give the feel of true seclusion and peace when you choose to sit out and enjoy it. There is a dining set and some comfy lounge chairs to help you truly de-stress and enjoy every minute of your holiday. There is parking for two cars on the gravel next to the garden.

  • There is an Accidental Damage Deposit of £200 when booking at this property, however this may be waived for £25. We’ll provide more details about this when booking your holiday.

Such a beautiful cottage, stylishly decorated, cosy and very comfortable. A real home from home. Good spot for walks to Porthilly Cove and to Rock. We visited in February so were unable to use the garden but such a lovey quiet spot with the cottage situated up a private lane. There is a baker, general store and fish and chip shop all within a 5/10 Read moreminute walk. Hide

This cottage was so comfortable, well presented and clean. The beds were very comfortable, no lumps or bumps. Every possible kitchen utensil was supplied. All in all it made for a wonderful stay. All information for the white goods and other items in this cottage were comprehensively supplied. Together with information on the local area it all helpRead mores with the weeks stay. The local spar shop was better stocked than any supermarket. Hide
