A really lovely week at Bootlace Barn, we loved Bude and all of the coastal walks it has to offer. The barn itself was really clean but unfortunately the reviews about the flies are true, we couldnt have the doors or windows open due to the amount that would come in. Bottle of wine and cake for us on arrival - nice touch. Barn is good for two people with everything you need. Comfortable king size bed and a good well equipped bathroom. Nice courtyard which catches the sun most of the day and evening. Although the barn is on a working farm we hardly heard any of the animals or machinery. Relaxing holiday close toRead more beaches. The cottage is roomy, well appointed and comfortable. Set on a working farm, its a great environment to appreciate being in the country. Plenty of wild birds to watch and the background hum of lowing cattle is very soothing. One highlight is the rear garden. Its essentially South facing so you get the benefit of the sun, all day. Perfect for sittinRead moreg with a drink and reading. Its remote enough to be quiet, but close enough to the A39 and local shops to get out and about. We loved it. Hide

North Cornwall

Embark on clifftop wanderings along the South West Coast Path to discover ancient myths and legends; King Arthur at Tintagel Castle, or the giant at the Bedruthan Steps. Surfers flock here to ride the famous swell that carved the dramatic coastline, and Bude and Newquay are havens for the sport. From sandy bays and beaches to the seafood delights of Padstow or thrills of Camel Creek Adventure Park, North Cornwall is brimming with things to do; trails to trek, cream teas to gobble, and adventure to be had.

West Cornwall

Let the history, romance and raw beauty of West Cornwall whisk you through time, into rocky coves and along sweeping sands to Land’s End where the UK slips into the Atlantic. Discover an oasis of flora owed to the rare geology of the Lizard peninsula. You can kayak around Godrevy Island, wander the galleries of St Ives, catch a performance at the open-air Minack Theatre, and still make it to Marazion for dinner: St Michael’s Mount makes the ultimate backdrop.

South Cornwall

Tucked away from the swell of the Atlantic pretty fishing harbours sleep, and lush carpets of greenery roll up to craggy cliffs. Discover the fishing and smuggling history in Kingsand and Cawsand, or walk the South West Coast Path from Fowey to the tiny tidal beach at Readymoney Cove. Sample local ales in St Austell before visiting Charlestown’s tall ships, the enchantments of the Eden Project, or The Lost Gardens of Heligan. From vibrant towns to secret beaches and exhilarating days out, the south has it all.
