Delightful property with a stylish and contemporary finish, quiet and tranquil enclosed garden, perfect for BBQs and the dogs. A spectacular property in a perfect location to explore Cornwall, the true romantic countryside getaway.

Located in an idyllic, rural location in Cornwall, Fanolas Barn is a great place to unwind and escape the chaos of everyday life. Stylish and modern, the property is not your typical ‘barn', but you will still find yourself immersed in the Cornish countryside with its picturesque views, stunning walks and unbridled tranquillity.

As you approach the property, you will see how the single-storey building blends into its natural surroundings. Completed in 2018, its contemporary style dominates the whole property, but the warm tones used throughout create a homely and welcoming feel. This style continues into the open-plan living area, where you can relax, cook and eat in comfort. On those long summer evenings, why not light the BBQ on the patio area, soak up the peace and quiet and wait for the sun to set.

Cornwall is known for its tin mining history, traditional country towns and intriguing seaside villages, all of which can be experienced within a convenient distance of Fanolas Barn. Liskeard, an ancient stannary (a tin mining district) and market town is 6 miles west and Bodmin Moor with its scenic walks and views over the tin mining engine houses is 15 miles north. Alternatively, drive south to Looe and Polperro where you can explore their narrow streets and traditional fishing harbours. You may even spot a shark, as Looe is the home of the Shark Angling Club of Great Britain.

Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week.

Fanolas barn was the break we needed. Perfect peace and quiet away from the hustle and bustle of life. Ideal location for visiting popular locations. The property is comfortable and spotlessly clean.

What a wonderful find, stunning views and very nearly new accommodation, cannot fault it. Outside tap for rinsing off muddy dogs could be useful.

Note: As the postcode is used to identify the general area of the property, it may not always reflect its precise location, therefore please only use this map as a guide.

North Cornwall

Embark on clifftop wanderings along the South West Coast Path to discover ancient myths and legends; King Arthur at Tintagel Castle, or the giant at the Bedruthan Steps. Surfers flock here to ride the famous swell that carved the dramatic coastline, and Bude and Newquay are havens for the sport. From sandy bays and beaches to the seafood delights of Padstow or thrills of Camel Creek Adventure Park, North Cornwall is brimming with things to do; trails to trek, cream teas to gobble, and adventure to be had.

West Cornwall

Let the history, romance and raw beauty of West Cornwall whisk you through time, into rocky coves and along sweeping sands to Land’s End where the UK slips into the Atlantic. Discover an oasis of flora owed to the rare geology of the Lizard peninsula. You can kayak around Godrevy Island, wander the galleries of St Ives, catch a performance at the open-air Minack Theatre, and still make it to Marazion for dinner: St Michael’s Mount makes the ultimate backdrop.

South Cornwall

Tucked away from the swell of the Atlantic pretty fishing harbours sleep, and lush carpets of greenery roll up to craggy cliffs. Discover the fishing and smuggling history in Kingsand and Cawsand, or walk the South West Coast Path from Fowey to the tiny tidal beach at Readymoney Cove. Sample local ales in St Austell before visiting Charlestown’s tall ships, the enchantments of the Eden Project, or The Lost Gardens of Heligan. From vibrant towns to secret beaches and exhilarating days out, the south has it all.
