This delightful property nestles in an idyllic courtyard location in the grounds of the owners' home and is perfectly placed just two miles from the coast.

As well as boasting an ideal location just a few miles from the historic medieval village of Tintagel, this attractive single-storey property makes exploring the Atlantic coast and all of North Cornwall’s treasures easy. And after a day of fun, coming home to a cosy wood burner and a comfortable bed is always guaranteed.

Everything you need is at your fingertips in this charming cottage, where its stylish open-plan layout is yours to discover. Prepare a romantic meal in the well-equipped kitchen and savour it while sitting around the dining table. Then, sink into the sofas in the living area, pop the TV/DVD on, and put your feet up in front of the wood burner. A perfect night’s sleep awaits in the spacious king-size bed. Finally, there is a handy shower room with a large shower and WC. Outside of the property, there is a small patio area with a bench and a shared 5-acre paddock to enjoy.

Undeniably the main attraction of the area, famous Tintagel (3 miles), set high on the cliffs of North Cornwall, offers dramatic sea views, mysterious Arthurian legends to explore, and a new 60-metre footbridge connecting the mainland to the island on which the spectacular Tintagel Castle can be found. And don’t forget to visit Merlin’s Cave back down on sea level! However, if beaches are your thing, the golden sands and natural caves of Trebarwith Strand are just 2.5 miles away. There’s also plenty of traditional Cornish fishing ports to enjoy, such as Boscastle (5.5 miles) and Port Isaac (9 miles) – where TV’s Doc Martin was filmed!

Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week.

We thoroughly enjoyed our week's stay. Gareth and Sandy were there on arrival incase we needed anything but the pack they provided via email beforehand told us everything we needed to know. We took our greyhound with us, the owners provided some items for him which was lovely and we appreciated the large field at the back of the property meaning weRead more didn't have to take him on a morning/evening walk on the roads. The cottage was very comfortable and we would definitely consider returning. Hide

Fantastic accommodation in a beautiful setting. Pictures don't do the interior justice. Only negative which is common in the area is no pavements on the roads around there

We had a lovely stay - it's a perfect cottage for a couple. Clean with everything you need, even a BBQ. Gareth was great and very helpful. Definitely need a car as there are no public footpaths nearby.

Fantastic little cottage, remote enough to where it's quiet but in a good location for key attractions. Would go again 100%.

There's nothing that the owners haven't thought about in respect of making this a home from home. Especially for our four legged companion. Its a great base in which to discover Cornwall. Quiet, relaxing!

Cottage in very quiet countryside, pleasant and relaxing. Coast is close but transport is required as there are no adjacent footpaths. Blackspot for mobile phones, but internet very good enabling mobile WiFi calling.

The cottage was very easy to find in a good location to all areas, on arrival the cottage was ready with a warm and homely feel. The owner was on hand if needed but we found everything to our satisfaction. We had taken our dog which there was a large paddock at the rear of the property to exercise him in. North Cornwall

Embark on clifftop wanderings along the South West Coast Path to discover ancient myths and legends; King Arthur at Tintagel Castle, or the giant at the Bedruthan Steps. Surfers flock here to ride the famous swell that carved the dramatic coastline, and Bude and Newquay are havens for the sport. From sandy bays and beaches to the seafood delights of Padstow or thrills of Camel Creek Adventure Park, North Cornwall is brimming with things to do; trails to trek, cream teas to gobble, and adventure to be had.

West Cornwall

Let the history, romance and raw beauty of West Cornwall whisk you through time, into rocky coves and along sweeping sands to Land’s End where the UK slips into the Atlantic. Discover an oasis of flora owed to the rare geology of the Lizard peninsula. You can kayak around Godrevy Island, wander the galleries of St Ives, catch a performance at the open-air Minack Theatre, and still make it to Marazion for dinner: St Michael’s Mount makes the ultimate backdrop.

South Cornwall

Tucked away from the swell of the Atlantic pretty fishing harbours sleep, and lush carpets of greenery roll up to craggy cliffs. Discover the fishing and smuggling history in Kingsand and Cawsand, or walk the South West Coast Path from Fowey to the tiny tidal beach at Readymoney Cove. Sample local ales in St Austell before visiting Charlestown’s tall ships, the enchantments of the Eden Project, or The Lost Gardens of Heligan. From vibrant towns to secret beaches and exhilarating days out, the south has it all.
