Set along the owner’s rural farm lane, with easy access to the A30, this home from home is perfect for guests to escape from the stresses of everyday life and relax. The easy access to Cardinham Woods offers stunning scenery on both the walking and cycling forest trails whilst the moorland offers panoramic countryside views. The vibrant market town of Bodmin (1 mile) provides guests with a lovely array of shops and restaurants. Nearby attractions include Lanhydrock House, Jamaica Inn, Bodmin Jail, Bodmin and Wenford Steam Railway, Camel Valley Vineyard, Camel Trail, Cornwall's Army Museum and Shire House Courtroom Experience. The world renowned Eden Project is just 13 miles away, the coastal hot spot of Padstow (17 miles - North Coast) and Fowey (12.5 miles - South Coast) The close proximity of these destinations demonstrates the property's fantastic location between the two opposite coasts.

Making your way up the short path from the private driveway brings you to the entrance of the home. Heading into the lounge, you will notice a spacious yet very cosy room where the family can relax in style. The room contains three comfortable sofas and a Smart TV for all to enjoy in front of the roaring open fire. Continuing through will bring you to the formal dining space which is ideal for guests to enjoy a favourite takeaway or even the tasty meal prepared in the kitchen next door. The well equipped kitchen has everything you will need, including an electric oven with a ceramic hob, microwave, fridge, freezer, dishwasher and even a washing machine.  A  breakfast bar and dining table are also positioned here which is the perfect spot to enjoy a morning cuppa with views across the rolling fields and moorlands. Continuing along the hallway, guests will be happy to see a snug room with an additional Smart TV to catch up on favourite programmes. Further along the hallway are two of four bedrooms, both containing a super-king bed (which can be made into twins on request). Finally, completing the downstairs is the first family bathroom which holds a bath, separate shower and WC. Making your way upstairs brings you to the final two bedrooms and shower room. The master bedroom contains a super-king bed (which can be made into twins on request), and the final bedroom contains a king-size bed. Both rooms have ample wardrobe space. Finally, the shower room with a shower and WC, which is positioned between the two bedrooms, completes the accommodation.

There are large outdoor garden spaces to the front and rear of the home. The rear garden is fully enclosed providing guests with peace of mind that children and pets will be kept within sight. There is also an outdoor patio terrace which can be accessed from the kitchen, snug, or steps up from the rear garden. There are two picnic benches and a BBQ so everyone can sit, eat and take in the views surrounding the property. There is ample parking for four cars on the private driveway.

Overall, we loved the property, plenty of room, well equipped, comfortable and really clean. Like others have said the noise from the road is the only downside but it didn't spoil our holiday. Would still recommend it.

Lovely, spacious, well equipped house. Very comfortable beds. The enclosed garden was perfect for the dogs. Owners responded very quickly to any questions. Look forward to staying again.

We had a lovely week at the cottage, great spot for exploring both north and south coast of Cornwall. Dogs had a lovely enclosed area to run around. Very comfortable, as mentioned in description, property is close to A30 with inevitable road noise, didnt really bother us. Woke up Monday morning to 4 of the owners cows giving birth. Named the calfs Read moreRuby, Amber, Ziggy and Rocky Would certainly consider staying here again. Hide

A lovely ckean and comfortable holiday home. We would stay again. Good location to visit both North and south Cornwall. Although close to the A road, you cannot hear the traffic when in the house.

We all had a great time. There was 6 adults and a baby and dog . The house was a great size for us all . Beds where very comfortable and the garden was great for our dog too. Lots to do great base . Very close to the A30 but the road noise didnt bother us at all.

A beautifully appointed and clean cottage. There were 8 of us, plus the dog, covering three generations. With 2 small grandchildren and my disabled parents to accommodate, I was concerned. It was perfect for all of us. I cannot recommend this place highly enough but want to keep it quiet so that we can go again!!

Fantastic cottage in a great location. Only 30mins from everywhere we wanted to go to. Secluded location not far from the a30 but the road noise isn't noticed unless you are outside. It's great for the kids to go and feed the calves and learn about the dairy farm which they can do on a morning or on an evening. Lovely spacious house for 8 adults, well stocked kitchen, comfy beds very clean throughout. The only downside was its right next to the A30 so very noisy outside but once in you cannot hear the traffic

Well equipped house. Sofas and beds really comfortable. Second lounge with TV a bonus with children in our party. The house is welcoming and homely with rear enclosed garden, safe for children and dogs. Situated on a working farm but no problem with any animal noises. Traffic noise from the busy A30 can be heard when windows are open or sitting in Read moregarden but it wasn't really an issue. Well located for shops etc and many attractions. Owners very friendly and helpful if needed. Would book again. Hide
