Set in the heart of the Cornish countryside, this semi-detached contemporary barn conversion offers an ideal family holiday on a working farm.

Unwind in style at this wonderful barn conversion set on a real working farm. Perfect for families, this bright and spacious home is where those memorable moments happen. From lazing out on the large lawn while the children play to cosying up on the sofa for a film in the evening, a holiday here will be one you won't forget.

After you've introduced yourselves to the farm animals, make yourself at home in this rustic-meets-modern barn. It's both practical and pretty, with plenty of room so that no one feels on top of each other. Cook at ease and keep the conversation going with everyone in the same place thanks to the excellent open-living space.

Although this property feels off the beaten track, it is less than a mile to local pubs and shops. Close to the border of Devon, Harvest Moon Cottage is a great base to explore the rural gems of Hartland's coast; Welcombe Mouth is an astonishing beach that is worth the effort to get to, offering beautiful waterfalls and impressive headland. Slightly further away, but easier to access is Summerleaze beach in Bude, a favourite sweeping beach that has enough sand to never feel crowded.

Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week.

Beautiful cottage in a lovely rural setting. Owners left a welcome pack which is much appreciated and great for showing the children the cows and farm.

Harvest Moon is a good base for visiting South Devon and North Cornwall. It is comfortable, well appointed and clean with a lovely shared garden. The owners are very accommodating and will help and advise if needed.

Map
Note: As the postcode is used to identify the general area of the property, it may not always reflect its precise location, therefore please only use this map as a guide.

North Cornwall

Embark on clifftop wanderings along the South West Coast Path to discover ancient myths and legends; King Arthur at Tintagel Castle, or the giant at the Bedruthan Steps. Surfers flock here to ride the famous swell that carved the dramatic coastline, and Bude and Newquay are havens for the sport. From sandy bays and beaches to the seafood delights of Padstow or thrills of Camel Creek Adventure Park, North Cornwall is brimming with things to do; trails to trek, cream teas to gobble, and adventure to be had.

West Cornwall

Let the history, romance and raw beauty of West Cornwall whisk you through time, into rocky coves and along sweeping sands to Land’s End where the UK slips into the Atlantic. Discover an oasis of flora owed to the rare geology of the Lizard peninsula. You can kayak around Godrevy Island, wander the galleries of St Ives, catch a performance at the open-air Minack Theatre, and still make it to Marazion for dinner: St Michael’s Mount makes the ultimate backdrop.

South Cornwall

Tucked away from the swell of the Atlantic pretty fishing harbours sleep, and lush carpets of greenery roll up to craggy cliffs. Discover the fishing and smuggling history in Kingsand and Cawsand, or walk the South West Coast Path from Fowey to the tiny tidal beach at Readymoney Cove. Sample local ales in St Austell before visiting Charlestown’s tall ships, the enchantments of the Eden Project, or The Lost Gardens of Heligan. From vibrant towns to secret beaches and exhilarating days out, the south has it all.
