Relish in the peace of staying in the idyllic and historic village of Cubert and popping out to the local shop, pub or bakery when needs must.

Falling into a dreamy slumber will come easy at this cottage. Its character and stylish furnishings make for a modest space that is welcoming and comfortable. Advertised as sleeping six but its a tight fit with parking for one car, and a bedroom directly off the kitchen. Limited space in a quaint cottage like this means its difficult for all six to eat together or relax in the living area together. Ideal for 4. We felt that it was a little pricey but we did go at one of the busiest times.

A lovely decorated cottage in a village setting. The kitchen has a toaster, dishwasher, microwave, hob dual ovens and a washing machine. The bedrooms are well equipped with an extra shower in the master bedroom and a hot water booster when required. There is a separate small walled garden at the rear and a field opposite for dogs, take a torch ! IdRead moreeal for a Summer break but a bit draughty if bad weather. Not as close to the coast as expected, the walk to Holywell is picturesque if quite long. Hide

North Cornwall

Embark on clifftop wanderings along the South West Coast Path to discover ancient myths and legends; King Arthur at Tintagel Castle, or the giant at the Bedruthan Steps. Surfers flock here to ride the famous swell that carved the dramatic coastline, and Bude and Newquay are havens for the sport. From sandy bays and beaches to the seafood delights of Padstow or thrills of Camel Creek Adventure Park, North Cornwall is brimming with things to do; trails to trek, cream teas to gobble, and adventure to be had.

West Cornwall

Let the history, romance and raw beauty of West Cornwall whisk you through time, into rocky coves and along sweeping sands to Land’s End where the UK slips into the Atlantic. Discover an oasis of flora owed to the rare geology of the Lizard peninsula. You can kayak around Godrevy Island, wander the galleries of St Ives, catch a performance at the open-air Minack Theatre, and still make it to Marazion for dinner: St Michael’s Mount makes the ultimate backdrop.

South Cornwall

Tucked away from the swell of the Atlantic pretty fishing harbours sleep, and lush carpets of greenery roll up to craggy cliffs. Discover the fishing and smuggling history in Kingsand and Cawsand, or walk the South West Coast Path from Fowey to the tiny tidal beach at Readymoney Cove. Sample local ales in St Austell before visiting Charlestown’s tall ships, the enchantments of the Eden Project, or The Lost Gardens of Heligan. From vibrant towns to secret beaches and exhilarating days out, the south has it all.
