With its location in the sought-after holiday location of Golant, it's in prime position for you to really get to know the real Cornwall. With on-site facilities like a shared endless swimming pool, a sauna games toom, a children's play area and more. You will just love the chance to wind down or exercise in style. Due to the current situation the games room and outdoor children's play area will not be available. The swimming pool and sauna will be available on a bookable time slot basis. The outdoor table tennis and badminton court will be available for guests' use with sanitising facilities nearby.

 

With its farm building original features retained for effect, this Cornwall country cottage has everything you need to make the most of a family trip to the wilds of the West Country. In addition to the magnificent activity features, the open-plan lounge/diner/kitchen has been designed to make you feel at home on your self-catering holiday.

 

Golant is very close to Fowey, itself a sought-after holiday location with a raft of visitor attractions including Daphne DuMaurier's former home, Restormel Castle, and the Gribbin Daymark. Further afield is the maritime haven of Charlestown, just outside St Austell – worth a visit for its tall ships, the Shipwreck Museum and Rescue & Heritage Centre, and preserved Georgian-era harbour. The fantastic Eden Project is within 10 miles of Rowan-At-Glant, an unmissable attraction for visitors of all ages. Also, add Lanhydrock House and Looe to your holiday itinerary.

 

Due to the current situation the shared facilities will be available as follows: Games room and outdoor children's play area will not be available. The swimming pool and sauna will be available on a bookable time slot basis. There will be a morning and an afternoon session. Each cottage group can book one morning and one afternoon slot. Additional time slots can be booked at the last minute if available. The outdoor table tennis and badminton court will be available for guests' use with sanitising facilities nearby.

Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week.

Lovely cottage, hot tubs swimming pool and the new silo bar all good editions for and enjoyable stay. Like the organic touches and the composting. Next time we stay we will go in the full disabled cottage. Perfect stay.

Lovely stay, made to feel really welcome. Nice secure garden for the dogs. The bar on a Friday with live music is a real bonus. Would highly recommend a stay here.

We had such a wonderful time staying in Rowan. The children loved the swimming pool and we used it every day. The hot tub was such a treat and was used daily too- we now want to get one! The cottage was super clean and had everything we needed inc. a tumble dryer. The beds were blissfully comfortable- Ive missed them since we have come home! Lovely location. Super views. Helpful, friendly hosts. Very eco oriented. Well appointed kitchen - all mod cons. Handy little shop. Everything you could wish for a great holiday. Loved visiting the hens, ducks, cavies and bunny. Plenty of lovely walks directly from the house. Comprehensive information pack about walks in the area. My husband and I absolutely loved our stay in the beautiful and peaceful Rowan cottage. The kitchen was well stocked with equipment and we were given a really generous amount of wood for the woodburner. We used the hot tub every day! The enclosed garden was a real sun trap and totally safe for our dog. The hobby farm was a real gem! And we didn't nRead moreeed to use it, but the 'honesty shop' is the best I've seen. What a lovely place to stay for four nights over Easter half term. The apartment was of very high standard of furnishings, spacious and comfortable, we would definitely come back here. The farm yard animals were a real treat for our children, especially being able to feed the lambs by hand. The kids enjoyed playing ping pong and using the swimming Read morepool. Beautiful setting, great building with lots of character. Comfortable and a great winter retreat with the hot tub and log fire. Relaxing and a perfect base for walks around the area.

The cottage is very comfy. The rooms are downstairs and the living/kitchen space are upstairs. Noise is translated from the floor. (+) Nice location, safe place, hot tub, free wood access for wood burner (-) Limited kitchenware, cold sauna takes an hour to warm up and you turn off after yourself (sessions are 2h long, and it is cold again for the nRead moreext users), pool is also very cold (both only good for summer months), felt like charged twice the price without being able to use those facilities. The cottage was lovely and well equipped with extremely comfy. There was a lovely view from the kitchen and lounge. There are many facilities for a young family although obviously at the moment a lot of them were unavailable because of Covid. The small shop at the farm is quite well stocked.
