One of three beautiful converted stone barns ideally situated in a traditional rural setting perfect for families looking to explore the cornish countryside.

At the end of a private track surrounded by farmland, you will find the delightful Trelights Corner Cottage. Just 3 miles from the sandy beach of Port Isaac, a fishing village so pretty that it was used as the location for TV's favourite medic, Doc Martin, it offers a great base to visit the gorgeous North Cornwall coast. Beautifully decorated with a maritime theme running throughout, you will be just as happy relaxing at home as spending a day at one of the glorious local beaches.

Warm inviting colours run through the property with an open-plan living space being the focal point of the home. Bright and airy, the blue and white tones give a subtle reminder that you are not far from the sea. A dining area with French doors leading out to the lovely garden is just the place to get together for an evening meal, or simply sit back in the deckchairs and admire the ever-changing views of the fields as the sun sets in the distance.

You'll be spoilt for choice with the wonderful beaches here. From Port Isaac with its colourful fishing boats to the bustling village of Rock, 6 miles away where you can catch a ferry over to Padstow, you will always find somewhere to have a great coastal adventure. Intrepid walkers can pick up the South West Coast Path and hike the 10 miles up to Tintagel Castle or better still, drive the 15 miles over to Bodmin Moor where you can visit fascinating historic attractions and hunt for the mythical beast.

The property was modern, clean, well equipped and in an excellent location. Elaine who met us on our first day and was there on our last day was a wealth of knowledge about the locality and also very helpful and polite. We would definitely consider returning to this property or using holiday cottages again in the future.

We booked this cottage together with adjoining Long Cottage in order to accommodate all ten of our family fo a week of celebration. It worked perfectly! As we had stayed here twice before we were very familiar with all that the properties had to offer. I'm sure we shall be back.

Beautiful, quote and well appointed holiday cottage. Perfect location for beaches, walks and great food. We had a fabulous time. The scones and teddy bears were a wonderful welcome touch. The views are outstanding at the back of the cottage. 100% worth a return visit.

North Cornwall

Embark on clifftop wanderings along the South West Coast Path to discover ancient myths and legends; King Arthur at Tintagel Castle, or the giant at the Bedruthan Steps. Surfers flock here to ride the famous swell that carved the dramatic coastline, and Bude and Newquay are havens for the sport. From sandy bays and beaches to the seafood delights of Padstow or thrills of Camel Creek Adventure Park, North Cornwall is brimming with things to do; trails to trek, cream teas to gobble, and adventure to be had.

West Cornwall

Let the history, romance and raw beauty of West Cornwall whisk you through time, into rocky coves and along sweeping sands to Land’s End where the UK slips into the Atlantic. Discover an oasis of flora owed to the rare geology of the Lizard peninsula. You can kayak around Godrevy Island, wander the galleries of St Ives, catch a performance at the open-air Minack Theatre, and still make it to Marazion for dinner: St Michael’s Mount makes the ultimate backdrop.

South Cornwall

Tucked away from the swell of the Atlantic pretty fishing harbours sleep, and lush carpets of greenery roll up to craggy cliffs. Discover the fishing and smuggling history in Kingsand and Cawsand, or walk the South West Coast Path from Fowey to the tiny tidal beach at Readymoney Cove. Sample local ales in St Austell before visiting Charlestown’s tall ships, the enchantments of the Eden Project, or The Lost Gardens of Heligan. From vibrant towns to secret beaches and exhilarating days out, the south has it all.
