The seaside resort of Bude is a few miles north over the hill; home to even more wide beaches, a rock swimming pool, golf, shops and the curious sea lock and canal. Other attractions within a 10-mile radius include the Arthurian Tintagel with its castle ruins and the historic curiosity of Boscastle, home to the Museum of Witchcraft.
